We had such a lovely evening! The food and service were excellent. Very friendly, helpful and happy staff. We just thought the lighting was very bright, we think the fittings are dimmable as they were turned down during the evening and it made such a difference

We (party of 6) thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at L’Unico (a recent find). My husband’s main course was unexpectedly tomato based and he dislikes tomatoes. Immediately it was removed and replaced with a different sauce. So full marks for that. Only disappointment was with my coffee. I asked for a macchiato and it definitely was not that but everything else was great and we will return.

This is a restaurant that we first visited this summer and we have returned several times and it’s got better and better. A small but well planned means that each dish is freshly cooked, beautifully presented and delicious. The proprietors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it’s great to see that a small local restaurant can still do well in Chelmsford by producing great food and providing a unique experience. L’Unico deserves to do well and I’m sure that it will.
