We ordered the price fixe meal for 2 for $50 and had a lovely light Caesar salad with potato crisps instead of croutons, rib tips in a smoky, sticky, slightly sweet sauce, and beer battered mushrooms which were so much better than your average fried mushroom. We shared the mussels which were done in a creamy lemon and thyme sauce with olives and green onion, like no other mussels sauce I had ever had. Portions were very large. Plenty to share and some to take home. We will definitely be back!

We had 7 adults & 2 one year olds. The staff and service is attentive and professional. The atmosphere was welcoming to our restless little ones even bringing a tray of finger foods when we arrived so they didn’t need to wait for their food. And speaking of food, it’s always delicious, creative and leaves us looking forward to our next time back and what we will try on that visit. Always a wonderful, enjoyable experience.

We love the atmosphere at Chance, and the service is absolutely amazing. The staff is so friendly & genuine. Loved the beets & the mushrooms, but neither of us was in love with our main courses this time. The steak was cooked beautifully, but it was not savory enough to enjoy it. The flavor of the meat was completely buried under the acidity of the chimichurri, and the bitterness of the turnips. I normally love all the components of this dish, but this time they just did not work for me together. And my husband’s salmon dish had too much sweetness & too much yogurt for his taste. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience last time we were here- loved the place itself, had great appetizers, but just couldn’t get too excited about the main course. But I am 100% rooting for this restaurant, so I will be back to give it another try! So much to like about this place!

Just Wonderful!! First time visiting this eclectic restaurant but certainly will not be the last! I visited to try the raved about hamburger and it was absolutely the best hamburger. It was paired with onion rings that were literally the best onion rings I have ever had. My husband got the chicken sandwich and truffle potatoes and it was equally as delicious. My father got the hamburger as well and he agreed that it was perfection. Our waitress was just perfect and the chef came out to the table to ask how our food was. What a nice touch! I am so happy we found this gem and will be spreading the good news! Thank you Chance Bar!

OMG!! How did I not know about Chance Bar. Best meal I've ever had in Fort Wayne. The tastes were amazing and the food was so very very fresh. Quality all around. The beet salad was good, but not as good as the last time I had it. Those crunchy phillo dough strings weren't on the salad last night and the beets were pickled I think not roasted. The chowder was superb. Amy was awesome. So nice.

Food and service good. Nice interior, but it was chilly where we were seated. However, it's a bit pricey and the menu is limited. Would be nice to be able to have mixed drinks also.
