Loved every second! The wine matched perfectly with the food. Food was amazing.
Only thing was that there was a big of damp on the ceiling/wall in the corner upstairs which was noticeable - no issue but with the style of the place etc would be nice for it to be touched up!

We met friends for dinner at Restaurant Six. Our welcome was warm and the charm of the building was immediate. I had asked for a particular table and it was the very one we were shown to. The steak tartare was a superb starter and the red mullet was sublime in its langoustine sauce. My Tarte Tatin was excellent and it was accompanied as we requested with coffees at the same time. So few restaurants deliver the cofffee and desert at the same time which we reallt like. Well done Restaurant Six - excellent service and a great dinner at really good prices.

First class food in a lovely comfortable atmosphere. A nice change as alot of the time to enjoy food of this standard you have to be in a stuffy restaurant feeling conscious of pairing the right wines and using the correct cutlery. That is not to say Resturant Six is not sophisticated, far from it, the beautifully restored building, comfortable seating, and white table cloths provide an instantly welcoming feel. The attentive front of house team were perfect, providing just the right amount of attention. Great service to match fantastic food.
If I had to give some constructive criticism it would be to introduce some none alcoholic options to the wine and cocktail list. In my opinion this is a direction all restaurants will have to embrace and understand as more people choose to enjoy a 0% option.
We can't wait to go back again.

Such a lovely, intimate, cosy restaurant where the service is wonderful. The food is delicious though personally, I found it a little salty. (My husband laughed that I'm not used to seasoning our food!) The Upperton wine is sensational. Both starters, the monkfish and torched mackerel, sublime. Mains (skate and spring tart) also delicious though I would a have preferred a shortcrust rather than puff pastry as I think it looks more 'special'. Loved the potato and spinach side dishes. Both puddings (cheesecake and delice) divine too though my husband would have preferred the cheesecake without the sweet sauce. (I love the non baked cheesecakes of my childhood!) Overall, a wonderful evening - delighted by the surprise birthday cupcake - thank you! We will come again but it would be wonderful to see more vegetarian options. Thank you.

This restaurant is exactly what Petersfield needed. Excellent food served in a cleverly laid out old building. The menu is small and has such an interesting blend of flavours it is a delight. Second time here and I think we're going to have to make it a monthly treat - perfect every which way. Angus a d team are attentive without being overbearing and the food is exceptionally tasty, complimented by a lovely choice of wines. See you in March
