Our group of 6 had a very enjoyable evening. The food was good. With a buffet I feel there are too many choices. There could be 1 or 2 fewer vegetables, and have fewer meat choices. There is a lot of food wasted.

Sunday. we reserved for & were seated at 12;30. I ordered the crab meat omelet. one at our table ordered the carrot cake. It was already no longer available/gone. My omelet was good however I tasted just one bite of crabmeat. The plate was loaded with too much potato, mostly overcooked, barely warm & hard. The bacon only partially cooked.For us this was not typical.

There was a minor issue with one substitution on one of our plates that was quickly fixed. Our friends, who were with us, live in Williamsburg but not at WindsorMeade. They were very pleased with their seafood duets. The substitutions they ordered came exactly as requested. After saying they didn't need dessert but ordered it anyway since it was included. After a small taste, they ate the whole brownie!

The veal chop was HUGE. Maybe waiter should warn people. It was also under cooked. We had never seen a chop that size any where in the world, so were totally surprised. The menu pricing was difficult to explain especially to the elderly gentleman we had with us.
