Frequently Asked Questions- Do you have outdoor seating available?
- Yes, our outdoor summer patio is open! We also have three tables located outside in the front of our restaurant. Outdoor tables are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please see our host in the front of the restaurant for availability questions and seating!
- Do you have free wifi available?
- Yes, we do!
- Where is parking located for your restaurant?
- Parking can be found in the paid parking lot adjacent to our restaurant; entrance for this parking lot is on Water Street in front of the Mystic Art Association. Parking can also be found on the street side throughout downtown Mystic.
- Do you accept reservations?
- Yes; reservations can be taken online or via telephone for indoor seating only. Our patio is first come first serve; however, if we have outdoor tables available at the time your arrive for your reservation we are happy to transition you outside at that time.
- Do you allow dogs on your outdoor patio?
- Yes! Dogs are allowed on both our outdoor rear patio and at the three tables located outside in the front of our restaurant. Outdoor seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Great service, fast and friendly, and excellent food. We went twice, Friday and Sunday and both times I had the lobster roll and my wife had the fried scallops. Great portions and good fries. Started by splitting the unbelievably good clam chowder. What I noticed about the chowder, besides how awesome it is, is that it came at a temperature I could eat it rather soon, it wasn't crazy hot which I enjoyed. Definitely going back.

Our entire experience from start to finish was excellent! We made an online reservation 30 minutes in advance and sat down promptly when we arrived. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Although the prime rib special that we ordered was sold out, the spaghetti fra diavolo was a fantastic second choice. We will definitely return the next time we are in Mystic!

Honestly, it was a perfect experience. Our server, Pam, was wonderful- very attentive and friendly! The food and drinks were superb. Honestly, the only thing I can even nitpick about is that our entrees came out a little too fast, before we had the chance to finish our appetizer. But honestly, I’d rather have it come too fast than wait a long time. Thank you to The Mariner for a lovely Valentine’s Day!

A very pleasant experience overall. I requested a window seat in my reservation -- that was not discussed when I arrived, and we were given a middle table, although we were able to move to a window. The food was generally delicious, although the lobster roll was a bit fishy tasting, and the fish from the fish and chips a bit greasy. The salad and drinks were great. The menu might be slightly expanded to offer more seafood items. The staff was very nice and friendly. I look forward to returning again.

My husband and I go to this restaurant at least four times a year when we visit Mystic it has always been our favorite place and still is but I do notice a change in the portion sizes and the service isn’t what it used to be as I do understand times are tough right now we shouldn’t have to sacrifice service. When you made the reservation online through their website it asks you what the occasion is we put that it was a birthday and they never even acknowledged it which was quite upsetting

The lobster (roll) was not warm enough nor was the butter.
The fish in fish and chips was fresh but it was a little overcooked (very soft). It also was very oily. The chips were not crisp on the outside. The portion of Cole slaw was too small (asked for another and got it---very good service) The mussels fra diablo had too small amount of pasta.

French onion soup and kids pasta were good. Swordfish was overcooked and not seasoned and the root vegetables weren't cooked consistently so some were completely raw. Calamari appetizer was also overcooked and completely rubbery. Chicken marsala was pretty good.

We were so thrilled by our last visit that this one could only suffer in comparison. It did. But only a little. The roasted chicken special was delicious, the halibut slightly over cooked but still tasty.

We arrived a few minutes early for our 7:30 reservation and were seated right away. Our waiter, Magic, was attentive, enthusiastic, and welcoming. He took our order promptly and checked in on us regularly. Everything was served as ordered and the food was delicious. The hot Lobster Roll is not to be missed! We also enjoyed the fresh catch of the day which happened to be sea bass and it was outstanding. We will definitely be back next time we are in Mystic!

Several hours before our dinner The Mariner contacted us to say that their kitchen was closing early and we should arrive by 8:15pm to be served. We were on a sunset cruise and could not. Ate at The Shipwright’s Daughter!

A very quiet night - sometimes a little loud when very busy. Also lighting seems a little bright . Also would suggest a couple healthier (not covered in Ritz Crackers) fish dishes as it is the Mariner. That said we like the restaurant but would like a couple more healthier options beside swordfish.
