Absolutely brilliant Scottish Breakfast for me and eggy bread with maple syrup for my sister. Will definitely be back again. Lovely place to eat and lots of lovely pictures to look at for sale.

Freshly cooked delicious food - battered fish gougons and chicken gougons amazing. Perhaps a kids meal to include drink & icecream would be good! Kids portions large for younger ones. Our kids were aged 5 & 8. Thanks - will be back!

Butter the toast for the beans on toast...or alternatively put the toast and beans separately on the plate with butter! Also...cheese and beans on toast would be even better! My husband said the cooked breakfast could not be bettered!

This was our first visit to The Barn and we weren't disappointed! A friendly welcome and we were shown to a dog-friendly area - and a great doggie menu! Food was excellent value for money and very plentiful. Am so glad we detoured yo have lunch here.

We had a lovely relaxed lunch with good food and friendly staff. The only issue was when we tried to change booking from 2 to 3 people and your app said it wasn't available for 3. Had to phone restaurant to book in the end, and there were tables available for 3 people.

Really friendly staff. Good selection of lunches for children including a interactive menu with puzzles and pictures. Really nice salads served with lunch. My family will definitely be back to try the breakfast menu too. Bring cash tips as they can’t add it to card payments just now.

the food as usual was delicious. I had a small portion of the haddock and chips and could have eaten it all over again. The fish is delicious at The Barn. Service is always good too. The one annoying thing we experience when we are there is the dreadful noise of people dragging chairs across the floor! The noise of that is conversation stopping! Maybe some rubber stoppers on the legs of the chairs would help?

Hygiene was excellent; restaurant and WC (Ladies') were very clean. Tables were well spaced for social distancing. Track and Trace was implemented. The owner and staff were extremely patient and friendly. Will return, and have no hesitation in recommending restaurant to friends.

What a lovely place, clean and welcoming with friendly staff Food was amazing, well presented and very tasty Only minor issue was the front door kept blowing open and letting in a draft - I would suggest a porch to stop this or a cheaper option of a 6ft wall to ceiling Perspex panel to prevent draft reaching tables near the door

Was the first meal out with our almost 3 year old since lockdown and was impressed with how the staff have managed to maintain a great atmosphere while implementing the social distancing and extra hygiene measures. Food was fantastic - our daughter especially loved her ice cream with sweeties!

Really good but the kids sandwich was very poor. No Marg or butter and the bread was stale

Restaurant seating area was uncomfortable to sit in for longer than an hour due to the cold. Building could do with a better heating system.

Lovely place very friendly staff, but that's the second time I've been there and been served cold tea and also coffee which is disappointing, especially when you've treated a friend.
