At the Bistro, our goal is to serve great tasting food while minimizing our environmental impact. One of our top favorite restaurants on Kauai that we discovered many years ago. I always book a reservation long before we arrive on the island. We are never disappointed by the food and service. Last night Jessica was our server and she was great. She recommended the pork chop…we both ordered it and loved it. Also had our favorite dessert here—the Grasshopper Pie. We will probably go back for another dinner or lunch before we leave Kauai.

Very enjoyable experience. The Bistro is a refuge of top-quality dining in a sea of just-average restaurant fare on Kauai (excluding the other excellent, high-end options in Princeville and Poipu). The menu gets an “A minus” from us, since some of the items weren’t as imaginative as we would have wanted to see (e.g., the pork chop is good, but with a little more thought, could be great), but we loved the food and experience overall. Keep evolving and innovating, Bistro team! You are a rare bird and can easily take it to the next level. Think bigger. You’re almost there.

The food is fantastic
The servers and support staff can’t be beat
However this time the hostess was very rude
We had a 530 reservation
She put us at the first two top in the dining room. I asked for a different table because that one is my least favorite. It’s noisier and has the most traffic and the bar view. There were many empty tables at that time.i asked for one of the ones along the windows. She said that the server already had enough tables in that area.
And she was snotty about it. Almost ruined my experience but I love eating there

We've eaten here several times and always enjoyed it. On this visit, we both tried something different, and we were surprised at how good both entrees were. My ratings of 10 across the board says it all! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at The Bistro. Ambiance and service were outstanding. When coupled with the delicious food, The Bistro absolutely deserves a 10 rating. Highly recommend!

We always have a great experience at The Bistro. Their Clam Chowder is always a favorite along with the Beet Salad. Fresh Blacked fish dish never disappoints.. Martini’s are great
