Our party enjoyed the Thursday night quiz. The quizmaster was charming and asked some questions to which we knew the answers. It was busy so I would recommend booking on quiz night. One person in our party had the hot dog which was in a baguette and big. They enjoyed it but moaned there was no vinegar, so I've put 9 even though food looked great. Good service, good value and friendly crew.

Cracking little micro pub, with a Tapas Bar on the side. Friendly Staff and Clientele. Real ales and more. The menu for Saturday night was Pizza, Pizza or Pizza. Disappointment for me as I was looking forward to a large spicey burger. My fault as I didn`t realise it was food themed by the day....I`ll be back on a Tuesday for the burger.

3people at a table & the food came out separately over 45minutes. The Landlord apologised more than once & we ended up not paying for our food. Such a shame with youngsters cooking the food with no adult direction. The pub itself is a great venue, bar staff great, but it's being really let down by the food service.

Love the Admiral’s Arm - great staff, food, beers, music and ambiance. However, we had booked a table for 4 from 2pm to 6pm and were given a tiny round table with high bar stools - not possible to eat at. Staff eventually sorted out a proper table for an hour and a half which enabled us to ear comfortably, before moving back to the high table. Perhaps they need to check if customers are intending to eat before reserving tables. We had a great time nonetheless and will return.

I was outside so can't comment on the pub itself. Great selection of beers : local, UK and international. The food was disappointing, v small portion for the ravioli. I was also tasting the lemon sauce more than the filling. I then ordered some garlic bread as I was still hungry. It was actually a pizza, took 30 minutes to arrive (was only told because I asked, no transparency from staff on that point) and was burnt on one side. Would recommend this place for drinks but not necessarily for food. The staff was nice and helped when asked. A lot more positives than negatives. A few areas need improvement in my view though
