Here at the Plough, we pride ourselves for serving good quality food with a warm, fast and friendly service. We strive to provide all our customers a safe and welcoming experience.
As a small family run business, we understand the importance of utilising and supporting local produce. This means all of the ingredients used in our dishes on the menu are locally sourced. We rely strongly on several different local suppliers.
We would love you to come and join us and try our food from resident Head Chef Adam Wyles. Please be advised that we are following Covid-19 government guidelines very closely to ensure both customers and staff are safe. The Plough has had a deep clean throughout and will continue on a regular basis, All tables and chairs are sanitised after each customer, All staff have completed the Prevention of Covid-19 training for Hospitality, Hand sanitiser stations throughout, We have been able to lay our interior out with 1 meter distance between tables, clear signage throughout and contactless payment options available.

Well we had Fantastic service from the moment we was seated until we left.
Food was lovely couldn't fault it one bit.
Portion sizes was perfect and came out hot.
Drinks was always coming to ha.(shame I was driving) lol.
But we all enjoyed the day.
High recommend and also lovely that dogs are welcome in the pub.

We hold a monthly WI lunch at The Plough, taking advantage of the FRYDAY fish deal. We always receive such a warm welcome, the food is lovely and fantastic value for money. Had roast beef which was delicious, would have enjoyed more vegetables but cauliflower cheese included is great and very deliciousl! Roast potatoes could have been crispier but didn't detract from an otherwise lovely afternoon!
Great spacious pub which has good layout of all tables, especially the round one. Beautifully decorated pub with plenty of parking and great young staff who are very helpful and friendly.
A favourite for our family, particularly for the roasts!

All of the food and service were excellent. We had sirloin steak cooked to perfection, duck breasts, and fish and chips. The steak was a perfect medium rare and melted in the mouth and came with onion rings in gluten free batter, yum. Sometimes I find the temperature is a little cool but otherwise really special place

Our visit was fabulous.The pub itself was tastefully decorated already for Christmas and on a dark wet night this was very welcome. It was my friends birthday. A birthday banner and a thoughtful birthday chocolate and message piped in chocolate was a lovely gesture after the meal. Food was excellent and we eat out a lot. Highly recommend the Plough and thank you to the staff who go above and beyond. A great choice of menu and the set menu was extremely good value!! Thanks again x

We loved the set menu choices for July. The only disappointment was I ordered the summer fruits pudding expecting it to be the normal summer pudding which is made with bread and served cold, but surprised it was a warm sponge.

We sat in the restaurant area. Very comfortable environment. The Waitress was excellant. Polite and efficient. Attention to detail and dietary needs without being overbearing.

The staff were really good. We were shown to our table, our order was accommodated, even those we made modifications, our drinks were served in good time, we were checked on but not too much (some places go overboard) and the portions were a good size and of good quality. We had a lovely lunch and they even placed a "Happy Birthday" banner on the window for my friend as it was her birthday. I would love to go back and would recommend.
