On arrival the staff were polite and welcoming. The service was excellent, we ordered drinks and were served really quickly. The menu was very good with lots of choices. It was difficult to decide! The food order was lovely and hot when it came.

The experience was excellent food and service. The only issue I would say is on arrival the younger staff need training on how to greet people as they seem to be very off hand making you think why have I come. Also they tend to carry on with their conversations instead of dealing with the customer who actually pay their wages. We enjoy the plough as it is our local so this issue would really help if it was sorted

Five of us had another delicious lunch with great service and value for money. Three of us had the sirloin steak special for £15 which was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The meat pudding and mash went down well as did the mushroom risotto. As always the desserts were delicious and highly recommended!

This was our second visit and it was just as good as our first. The staff are all friendly and (seemingly) genuinely happy in their work, we were seated promptly and the service timings were just right. Our food was great (specifically came for burgers as some of us had had these on our previous visit) and they didn’t disappoint, our son had ribs which he loved; everything was beautifully cooked. We will be back again I’m sure!

Another lovely table of food, including fish, chips & peas , chicken burger, chips & coleslaw, perfectly cooked then ice cream and a huge sharing pudding consisting of ice cream, chocolate brownie , cream, chocolate sauce and wafers.
Staff were very attentive and showed they loved their job.
We could see the food being cooked and also the wipe down after the last service which was great to watch.
They don’t rush you and are happy to just let you sit and chat when finished which is nice.
