It was a lovely experience! Our favourites were the scones and the croissant with egg, but everything was delicious. It was a bit cold in the room, and if the fireplace was on that would have made it feel a bit warmer and made the ambience even better.

It had been a couple of years since I visited QoH and was happy that it hadn't changed too much. The sandwiches and hot items were delicious. The scones were also great. I felt that the desserts were very small and could have been a little bit larger. Also, and this is a minor thing, I had a work phone call as I was pulling up to the doors so I let my adult daughters out to get in at our reservation time. The call took about 10 minutes. When I went inside I found out that the girls weren't being served until I came in, and I thought that was ridiculous especially as I was right outside. The food tiers could have been brought and my tea ordered when I arrived. I just didn't think that delay was necessary. My girls felt uncomfortable, and I had no idea until I walked in. That's why it's a 9 for service instead of a 10.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Queen of Hearts. They made thoughtful substitutions to accommodate some food allergies which we really appreciate. We brought my mother there as a birthday gift and she loved the experience - it was a lovely time.

We all had a wonderful time. This was my niece's first time at tea with 'the big girls'.
She's only three, but loved every minute. She enjoyed almost all the sandwiches, half a scone (first time for her for clotted cream; she loves that!). And the pink icing on the cupcake with sprinkles was a BIG hit. We all had take home boxes, and we talked about when we could go back!

Overall a good experience. Food and service were exceptional. Loved the gift area. Changes to make it great: Chairs were a bit uncomfortable and room temperature was a bit chilly. A few more Victorian touches would make it really special / paper doilies, eclectic teapots and cups (find at flea markets, etc). Staff were very accommodating but didn’t look like they were having fun or enjoying their clients too much.

Hello, we had a great time but with a couple drawbacks. One being a hair in my sandwich with a poor response from our server when advised. We also found the server very inattentive. Didnt appear happy when we asked for more hot water. Otherwise the food was enjoyable.

I was pleased that they provided a vegetarian afternoon tea. There was a nice variety of sandwiches and cakes though some of the items were kind of dry. We appreciated that each guest was able to choose their own tea and it was a good sized pot. It would have been nice to have somewhere to put our tea bags after removing them from the pots. We enjoyed that it was quiet (though that may be because we were the only guests in the tea house). One of the people in our party had to flag down the server to get a glass of water and water wasn't offered to anyone else. The menu indicated that each individual can have 2 different teas but we were never offered a second tea or asked if we needed more milk etc.
