The service was excellent especially our waiter Kelvin was very efficient and well informed of the menu. The ambiance was very noisy as we were seated across the open-concept kitchen. The tables were arranged to close and one could not talk with total privacy. The steaks were well prepared but having to pay extra for the sides was a little unfair. For the price at least 2 sides should be included.

Food and Ambience was superb. Steak and Wellington were above average but the pasta was just decent.
However, it was extremely disappointing that the Beef Wellington we pre-ordered did not arrive at the same time the rest of our food did. So 2 members of my table had to wait over 20 minutes for their food while the rest of us had ours.
Calvin, as friendly as he was, could have handled the situation better. Apologise and take responsibility. Instead his first reaction was to tell us how long it takes to prepare the Wellington, before giving in and apologising.
I would come again for the food. I hope the staff just learn from this experience

The staff were excellent and I couldn't fault them at all, but I felt that the food was average, at best , despite the relatively high cost of the meal.
My wife had the lobster bisque as a starter which she didnt enjoy as she felt it was not that fresh. We then had the A4 Wagyu striploin at RM200 per 100g but it was definitely not worth it in our subjective minds.
However, the staff were superb and even gave us a complimentary cheesecake, for my wife's birthday, which was tasty and a really nice touch.
Overall bill was about RM975 for one bottle of water, one starter, & 2 main courses (incl 3 sides) - the cheesecake was not charged. I would have given the restaurant a 4 star but the staff bumped it up to a 5 star out of 10.

If I could give 6 stars out of 5, I would. Really enjoyed having dinner here with my wife. The food was great, the ambience was perfect, and the service was the best I’ve had in Kuala Lumpur in a very long time. Calvin from Maillard Grill really made sure that our dinner experience was properly attended to and it really felt like a special evening for both myself and my wife. Would highly recommend this place to anyone that would like to celebrate a special occasion with their loved ones.

The Beef Wellington was absolutely divine; not a single bad comment from any of the 6 adults who ate it. The Tomahawk was also good, except we'd asked for half of it to be cooked medium rare and the other half medium, but all of it looked medium rare to my untrained eye. Nevertheless it was still tasty and again, not a single bad comment from anyone. The Ipoh spring chicken was slightly chewy though, but the chicken liver pate that came with the starter bread was very well-received. The white cabbage of the two colour cabbage was enjoyed by most, but the purple cabbage was unfortunately not as soft as the white cabbage. Food aside, the service from staff were excellent. Kelvin and Kim were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.

Other Remarks:
- Limited Cut of Steaks and Items on the Menu is available
- Onion Soup was horrible (the sauteed onion was too sweet and the broth was tasteless)

great place as a first time , service was pleasant . however presentation of food was a let down. cutlery and plate were definitely not the level expected of the steak house. the oval white plate cheapened the look ( a wooden board would have looekd better) and the knife provided was clearly not suited for steaks and terribly unconducive to cut. we had to ask for a change in our plates . The knife provided did not do it job and would have suited white meats or fish. Please look at quality steak knives such as Laguiole . While the staff did offer to slice our meat, we declined , since we do prefer it cut our own meat.
Overall, the ambience was lovely, meat was fairly priced but eye to detail to food presentation and dining space to could be better. i.e photo frames that were not aligned straight on the wall,
