PS150 is a cocktail bar on Petaling Street in Chinatown Kuala Lumpur.
Inhibiting the least expected of places, PS150 is housed in a pre-war shop lot snaking around a tiny stationery shop and sitting under the popular cafe, Merchant’s Lane. The space is divided into three seating areas that bookmark three distinct eras in the history of Indochina and cocktails. With the bar's unassuming entrance, child-like curiousity is rewarded at PS150 as more than meets the eye. There is the Opium Den with intimate booths perfect for a date night, the outdoor courtyard for the smoking area and the Main Bar where all the action happens. Befitting its location, Far Eastern accents liven up the bar as the interiors harken back to a darker, yet more exciting time in our city’s history.

Drinks were pricier and price on the menu vs what was told differed which didn’t make sense for Paloma cocktail. If there is going to be price difference it should be mentioned on the menu but appreciate the fact waitress informed when ordered the drink. Place was unique and great for photography!

Service was great. Drinks were decent. However, there were water dripping at the place we were seated, and there was a stale smell from the air conditioner. Ambiance was interesting albeit too dim.

I was disappointed at the drinks as it was not worth RM55 for a cocktail. It felt like chugging a full shot of pure alcohol rather than a cocktail concoction. I could have gotten better alcohol for the same price at Mantra Bar KL with a view of the KL skyline rather than a speakeasy that did not know how to make proper cocktails.

The place’s interiors are super cool, however, the seating is weirdly restricting when it comes to couples. They dedicated 2 tables for couples and all couples (including us) refused to sit on that table in the corner because it’s super tight and cornered. The issue can be resolved in a simple reshuffling if tables - let me know if you’d like to know how

When we make reservations early and mention to have siting area facing the bar , please provide . Sitting for 2 we cannot get a sit facing the bar !!!! . Don’t give corner sitting . Also on that day we started drinking from 7 pm till 9 pm and spend around RM 240 and we cannot continue drinking because we were chase out because our sit have reservation at 9pm . What a letdown . We were having fun and got chase away . That’s why the rating I gave is bad . Always remember not always you have a good business. Appreciate and value your customer , regardless it race , culture and status . I am a regular customer to PS150 Recommended lots of customer . Very disappointed this time around when most businesses are not doing well . You can effort to treat your customer by chasing us out .

Made a reservation for birthday celebration more than 2 weeks ago. Placed at an area whereby there are water splashes from the rain and wet seats. 6 people seated but only 3 glasses of water served while waiting for our drinks and it took for more than 20minutes for us to get any drinks and when they came, they came repeatedly of the same order.
Then a waiter spilled water on one of our friends and broke a glass of drinks which wasn’t replaced until we raised the issues
Only saving grace was after we mentioned above matter to the person in charge that things were slightly better in order.
Worst experience ever when having friends from elsewhere visiting kL & this was what we received, will never visit again.

I sat down in a quite corridor completely isolated and with no music. No one came to get our order. I asked a member for a drink, we waited another 30 minutes and we received nothing but cucumber water which was complimentary anyways. We got tired of waiting and left without any drinks.
I wouldnt recommend it to my enemies. It was a complete waste of time. Who will pay for my traveling cost?!

Our booking was not recognized and as the restaurant was full we had to wait for a table. We were a group of 4 and ended up having to split and get 2 tables for 2 each. As we waited, we saw a rat run by. Safe to say it was the first and last time visiting.

Such a cool place to chill with great ambience and nice music. However a few things spoiled the experience.
1. They should have informed that a reservation only lasts 2 hours. I reserved for 8.30pm and was told to leave around 10.15pm because the allocated time has ended. Was hoping to stay till 12am till they closed. If we knew this, would have gone elsewhere where we could stay till late.
2. We ordered drinks around 8.45pm. The waiter should have informed that the kitchen closes soon when he served us our drinks. By the time we tried to order food at 9.15pm, We're told that there is no food available as kitchen closed at 9pm. If only we knew earlier, would have ordered as soon as we came in. Was quite disappointing as we did not have dinner yet and were very hungry.
3. Apart from this, the waiters/bartenders were friendly and entertaining. The drinks were very creative and good too. The bar is beautifully decorated for nice photo opportunities. The music wasn't too loud and just nice for conversation. Please do fix the issues and it will be a great place to go to.
