Tavern Trattoria started well several years ago and it keeps getting better. Last night was wonderful. The Squid Inc Puttanesca was outstanding, great flavor combinations with the olives, tomatoes, noodles, shrimp and scallops. My wife had the Grouper Picatta and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their Italian Reds are always spot on. Britney provided excellent service. It is a bit of a drive for us but well worth it. It is quickly becoming our favorite place for fine dining at the lake.

Chef John and his team never disappoint! We chose Tavern Trattoria for my husband’s birthday dinner, and as always, everything was outstanding. My husband enjoyed the skirt steak and shrimp scampi, while I had the voodoo pasta—both dishes were incredible. We wrapped up the evening with a brownie and crème brûlée, and they were just as delicious. The service was just as impressive as the food—big thanks to Collette for taking such great care of us!

This was our first time dining at the Tavern Trattoria. The experience was delightful; relaxed but with elevated menu. The staff was welcoming, Chef John came to each table to introduce the dishes on the menu, and the service was excellent. We had the bone marrow appetizer which we highly recommend. The pork belly with homemade gnocchi was delicious. The seafood chowder was the best we have eaten in the states.

I spoke to Sherri & explained that my lasagna was warm at best. I like my lasagna like my coffee, hot. Now, with that being said, it was absolutely fantastic otherwise. It’s the best Italian at the Lake by far! We’re from the Lou so we know good Italian when we eat it! I think overall the atmosphere & service are on point!

Because my husband and I are big fans of the Tavern at Trail’s End, we had been looking forward to trying The Tavern Trattoria. It did not disappoint! Our meals were fabulous, from the bread to the salad and soup to our main courses. We also got a side of their meatballs which were delicious! But it’s not just the food that made our visit a wonderful experience. The restaurant itself is lovely, the service was impeccable, and the personal visit with the chef was appreciated. Food is fabulous…I’ve been there 6 times and never had something I didn’t love. Chef tricks up the menu occasionally which is fun. The new stuffed squash blossoms are incredible. Servers r knowledgeable and friendly…especially Katie and Julia! They r soooo fun! This and Tavern at trails End are my favorite restaurants in the Ozarks!

Tavern Trattoria was exceptional. Katie was our excellent server, busy but attentive and always a smile on her face. The mushroom pasta was as delicious as the reviews raved. The veal was light and tender. Crème Brûlée for dessert topped off a wonderful evening. And loved the ambiance as well as the personal attention from the owner! We look forward to our return!

Had a great meal celebrating husband’s birthday! From the cocktails & appetizers, to the entrees & dessert, everything was excellent & our server, Katie, was very courteous & personable. We had an awesome dining experience & plan on returning in the near future! Thrilled to have an Italian restaurant of this caliber at LOTO!

Our waitress, Katie was very good. Friendly, conversive and informative. Main course seemed to take longer than expected to arrive but was delicious. Light level was much appreciated! Too many restaurants turn the lights down so low that you can barely see what you eating.

The experience was very good. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly.
The food was very good. The only downer was the cost was a little higher than we can go for it to be a "regular" place for us. We will definitely be back for special occasions though.

Had a great time. My wife had an ambrosia cocktail I had a glass of malbec wine,they were very good. Our appetizers and entrées were delicious. We brought home cannolis for dessert they were yummy. Atmosphere and staff were great. It was well worth the half hour drive, will definitely be going back soon

Thank you Julia for making our evening at the beautiful Trattoria Restaurant last night superb. We enjoyed you giving us first class service. The food and drinks were excellent and far beyond what our expectations were. We were delighted to bring our son from Bentonville, Ark who is a world traveler and he agreed the quality of food was gourmet. We always love the experience the Buchanans provide for us at all their restaurants. We went with friends this time, and we all raved about our entrées, beverages, and desserts. The only aspect that needed improvement in this particular meal was that my husband’s ice cream for the Affogato was very, very hard, pretty much being frozen solid. The espresso poured over it did not melt it in enough to allow spooning into the ice cream. By the time the rest had finished their dessert, his ice cream had finally melted enough to the point where he could get a spoon into it. Other than that, the experience was fabulous, as always.
