Lovely night out, lovely food and really nice young lad serving us . Sorry cant remember his name but he has relatives in Liverpool, he was very helpful and friendly. The spag bol was beautiful and the houmous starter was lovely too. The beer was was top notch and we just knew we were going to have a good meal by the aroma which greeted you on walking in. Much better meal than some of the pricier establishments in Grasmere . We will be certainly be back !

We come here every year for our anniversary and there's a reason why . . .the beer, the food, the warmth of the place, the staff, friendliness of the place. I could not think of anywhere else to eat and drink that would be more perfect than here! We stopped in the night before our table was booked just for drinks and my husband got talking to the staff who clearly must have been intrigued when he said we come here yearly for food! Keep up the good work there was absolutely nothing I would pick at or suggest because it wouldn't be the same even the locals who get in are friendly and I just love it so thanks everyone for another special night!!

My wife and I loved our first visit to the friendly Grasmere Brewery. Portions were so generous that we shared a pudding. Service was attentive and engaging. Prices on a par with elsewhere in Grasmere, we're just getting used to them being so high!! We're going back tonight!

Excellent venue. Food was delicious - we had the lamb burger and the beef burger and both were exceptional. Beer was delicious, I had the IPA, and the wine choice was good. Staff were excellent. Clearly well trained and led by the owner who was charm and efficiency personified.

Service was excellent, food arrived very quickly and was the best chicken curry very tasty, followed by chocolate brownie and ice cream yummy! Our waiter was very friendly and tentative. Great experience all round. I loved the Helles, we both loved the food, meatballs and Seafood pasta. The sticky toffee pudding was also great and huge portion.
