First visit since the new owners and refurbishment, we went for Sunday lunch, the decor and seating was lovely, the service was excellent and the food was superb, we sat in the bar area and would probably choose another area as the bar was busy, but definitely recommend and will definitely visit again.

First time eating here since the new owners but food was really good . A lovely meal .I have some very difficult allergies to accommodate. Felt well taken care of, listened too and safe eating there. Soufflé was to die for ,best I’ve had for many years . Ambience slightly spoilt by the door to the bar being left open and a loud repetitive laugh :) . We did close the doors ourselves . Main course an excellent choice too . Compliments to the chef Definitely coming again great food helpful staff , thanks Andrea for the suggestion to have ice cream with the chocolate brownie. it was just what was needed . Thank you for a great evening

My Prawn starter was rubbery and tasted funny so I left it, the others said their starters were just alright. The mains were ok, meat was good quality but the amount and choice of vegetables was poor, the roast potatoes were very dry, if your not going to serve mashed potatoes then the roasts need to be good. We all agreed that the vegetables and amount let the meal down
