Le Culinaire is open once a week on Wednesdays to students, faculty, staff, and the public offering lunch and dinner services from Wednesday, Feb.12th until Wednesday, Apr. 9th. A reservation is required. Reservations can be booked up to three weeks in advance using the online reservation system. Seatings for lunch begin from 12-12:30 p.m. and 6-6:30 p.m. for dinner. Reservations and table sizes are limited for the benefit of the students and to ensure good service can be provided for guests.
Lunch services are prepared by students in the Food Production III class, an introduction to restaurant and buffet service. Dinner services are prepared by students in the Food Production IV class, which is one of the final classes that students take before completing an Associates of Applied Science in Culinary Art.
Cost: The cost of lunch is $18 per person and $30 per person for dinner. Le Culinaire accepts payments by credit card or check (made payable to UA-PTC CAHMI). All funds received from Le Culinaire will be invested in providing for program and student needs, including student activities and scholarships as well as purchasing ingredients and supplies like pots and pans.

The food was delicious. The only thing I would rate a nine would be the temperature of the food. It was not as hot as it could have been when it reached our table. However; the taste was amazing! Everything else was excellent. We enjoy spending our wedding anniversary at LeCulinaire. We plan to return next year.

We loved the whole experience. Would suggest additional training on waiter skills; better informed about menu, too eager to remove plates (even while one lady was still eating) and our bill was presented before we were served dessert.

The following comments offered as part of the learning experience. All food items were terrific; however, the fritters were barely warm. The service dragged and it took a long time between courses to order the next course. It also took a long time to get the check and to make the credit card payment. That said, the program is terrific and the overall experience is wonderful. Here’s a pet peeve. I think the dessert utensils set above the place setting are consistently backward every time. You might want to check, as I could be wrong. But the dessert spoon handle should face right and the fork handle faces left, with the spoon above the fork.

A lovely meal but we are all very disappointed that we can no longer bring our own wine. Whoever made the decision to change this policy is misguided. It has been the policy ever since I started coming to the dining program and the change is entirely unwelcome. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has complained and I hope you will take our dissatisfaction to heart and reinstate the wine policy.
