It was a special occasion with surprise out of town guests. Wait staff were welcoming, flexible, positive and pleasant throughout.
The Madagascar beef was surprisingly spicy hot even for a tolerant palate. Some caution would be advisable.
The pasta night is still good value, but less so as options/choices disappear and portions become more measured.

The service for the Caribbean and the Asian nights were exemplary!! The food was beyond amazing. The entertainment was very good, especially the Asian night! Wow!
We did fin however, we were seated at the table near the entertainment for the Caribbean night and we were with guests. It was impossible to talk to one another because it was very loud. It was very disappointing for us and also the friends we brought. We anticipated dinner background music . This time we requested a table further away from the entertainment and were able to have a conversation. If the musician from the Asian night was playing in the area downstairs we would definitely go to see him! Well done to the team!!!

I had a great visit with two friends enjoying the beautiful view at a window table.
The waitress was attentive and pleasant. My choice of food was delicious and
presented well on corn tortillas. The other two had a large serving of something else which they could not finish. I strongly suggest that the wall barrier prevents the
enjoyment of the view for others and that the menu could be shorter and presented
in a classier way as this is not a hamburger joint.

My husband and I go often to the golf club for pasta night. A great night that starts with a glass of wine soup or salad and garlic bread. The pasta is at a made to order area where the chef give you the option of pastas , usually a short pasta a long one and a stuffed pasta. We always order the ravioli when they have it stuffed with mushrooms. And the options which include shrimp , chicken ,meatballs and too many veggies to mention. The choice of sauces is amazing , Alfredo ,marinara, pesto and a combo of whichever you like. I highly recommend pasta night here. Great service and good food.
Also I have to mention they have a great policy for allergies and gluten free options as well, I can’t say enough about how serious the staff treat allergies.

We were a party of 10 and did not like the buffet style 3 at a time for pasta night. First one done before last one was served. Food was good, but Would much prefer to be served at the table. Jennifer did an excellent job, but was run off her feet. Club needs to hire more good staff! I noticed that the chair seats are getting very tattered looking, not very impressive for our guests to see.

We go often to the golf and curling club . This time we went and had the ricotta and mushroom ravioli and asked the chef to make it the way she thinks it should be served. She added a bit of onion and bacon , heavy cream and Parmesan. It was on of the best pastas my husband and I have ever had.
We both very much recommend pasta night at the golf club.

Music would be a nice addition.( i.e. classical guitar or harpist background, would be nice, but might not work because of the layout with regard to sound .
Meat choices were great and tasty, and the salads offered lovely options that were fresh and interesting.
As a suggestion, moving forward, maybe an appetizer choice and another veg would be good too.

Staff was great, but it appeared that there wasn't enough people to serve initially. That was corrected a bit later on. Some confusion on where to sit us (despite reservation) and had to move us during seating. It was busy so glad to see there were two people at the pasta station. It was lovely to join another couple for an unplanned meal together. My guest and I both ordered the Cobb Salad and it was excellent except for one thing, the salad dressing was very bland and not much was in/on it and we had to ask our server to bring some more dressing to add to our salads.
The presentation of the salad was very impressive; it was so colourful (my guest even took a photo of the plate she was so taken by it!)
The amount of items from the whole sliced avocado, generous portions of blue cheese, real bacon bits, cut up grape tomatoes, 2 sliced eggs, and a sliced grilled chicken breast and then all laid on a bed of romaine lettuce! Yum!
There was enough of a salad for two people to enjoy.
I can’t believe in the end that I actually ate the whole thing (but we both would have enjoyed the salad with a more tangy dressing!
We’ll be back to try something else on your menu.
Our server was busy but remained attentive to our needs.
One suggestion:
When serving a hot beverage (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) why not offer your customers a small plate of homemade cookies as one of the desserts for a small charge or maybe even no charge at all!
I know my husband and I always enjoy a couple of cookies with our hot beverage.
In the same way that in the Downbar/patio the servers put our a bowl of nuts or chips when a group of a people order a beer why not offer little bite size cookies on a plate to go with a hot beverage order?
Not everyone always wants to order a regular dessert off the menu and especially after a heavier meal.

We received the Bkst menus but was not the menu that was on line for brunch. We then asked for the brunch menu that was on line and then the waitress came over with one menu.
Great service, pleasant waitress, good food and value. The waitress should be coming over to ask if we needed refills of coffee and water with out asking. We enjoyed the experience and will come back for brunch!

Quality of food good, menu options are adequate and appeal to various likes, servers are friendly, always nice to sit by window, I like that there is an all day breakfast even though I didn't have it,
The chairs were ripped and cheapened the decor. I find the main dinner selections are very pricey and there's always too much to eat. Having a "happy hour" when you can get drinks for half price and smaller portions for less money would be helpful for seniors in particular who just don't want to or can't eat as much.

Our experience this time was a substantial improvement from our experiences over the last year. In the Greenside dining area, it would be good if the barrier in the middle of the room could be removed so that everyone could see out onto the golf course. We could never understand why it was ever put up in the first place since most people want to enjoy the view.

Hi, When we arrived, I was not sure the restaurant received my online booking. The table was not ready and the attendant seemed surprised but quickly organized to get a table ready for the 4 of us. Patty came to help and it seemed very busy. We were served coffee but had to ask for cream. There were only two plates left by the omlet bar and we had to ask for more. There was very little fruit left on the platter. This was at 1140. It was replenished when we were almost finished our brunch.
We were asked if we wanted pancakes and toast but I didn’t realize there was an extra charge until I saw the toast charge on the bill. Extra charges should be mentioned or posted somewhere please.
Lilies are lovely to look at but they make me sneeze- fortunately the one on our table was not in bloom yet so no sneezing.
Patty was amazing and checked in on us several times. The other person, sorry I did not catch name, was very busy as well and apologized several times.
The chef at the omelette bar did a great job.

I noticed the format has changed where as I preferred to fill out a paper with my order and it was prepared outside then brought to the table. We happened to be seated beside the cooking area and everyone was lined up waiting for their order . It was a little crowded beside our table and I would have perfered a little more privacy for our group.

Party consisted of two members and four guests. It was quiet, comfortable and everyone seemed to find something on the menu for lighter appetites. One guest as he was getting up to leave noted the poor condition of the chair cushions. This is really at odds with the overall impression made by the Greenside dining room and should be corrected.
I’d like to add a separate comment about the brunch menu that my wife and I enjoyed this past Sunday. The steak in the breakfast wrap needs to be either more tender or more minced or better quality. No surprises and guest feedback was positive. Caesar salad was very good. Pasta bar options met everyone’s needs and we’re nicely prepared. Server was attentive except for water refills. Ryan at the pasta prep station was helpful with suggestions and friendly.

Having been a long time member feel that the overall ding experience has suffered in recent times. Mainly as a result of simple things like receiving your food and it’s hot. On the last three occasions the table has either received feed that is barely warm and or diners have varying degrees of hot food. From hot to barely warm . I’m not sure if this and the overall ambience of the dining experience is a result of the pandemic. But from an experience that was always superior it now struggles to be what it was.

The ambiance was great. Loved the jazz music. The salad needed a bit more dressing and less greens. There should be a wine list that we could look at. A code to indicate which entrees are gluten free would be great. Ribeye could have been a little thicker. Thanks.

It was a good event with great food. The events are good but don‘t lead to a daily menu. I would like to see a daily diverse menu versus a limited pub menu. There could be chefs changes or specials. I would like to see steak, fish as well as nice salad options on the daily menu. I understand the patio having a pub style menu however the dining room should other options.

Too much food. Fruit hidden under potatoes. Omelet large and flat. So presentation lacking. Never sure what I will find with every order made. The consistency is discouraging at times. Best food comes when given to large groups (ex. bonspiel meals) and buffets.

I am used to a more formal setting in the dining room. That is, a complete table setting with cup and saucer, a full set of cutlery and better glassware for lunch.
Also, the dining chairs are extremely worn.
Matt welcomed us and sat us promptly even though we were late for our reservation.
Dustin was very attentive and personable.
The food was delicious.
