Restaurant Review: A Steak to Remember – The Best This Side of Argentina
Tucked away like a secret whispered among carnivores, this unassuming restaurant delivers what can only be described as a near-religious experience for steak lovers. And yes, I’ll say it: the best steak this side of Argentina—and I’ve got the emotional scars of lesser cuts to prove it.
From the moment you walk in, the scent of seared perfection welcomes you like an old friend. The ambience is understated, letting the food do the talking—which it does, in fluent flame-charred poetry.
I ordered the large filet, medium-rare. What arrived was less a piece of meat and more a spiritual encounter. Charred just enough to carry a whisper of smoke, tender enough to dissolve with a sigh, and seasoned so masterfully it made me question my past life choices. Each bite was a sonnet written in from the flame of the grill.
The sides? Generous, well-considered, but politely deferential to the star of the show. The chimichurri should be bottled and canonised.
Service was warm but never intrusive, like a good sommelier who knows when to disappear.
If you love steak—and I mean really love steak—book a table, cancel your evening plans, and prepare for a pilgrimage. The best steak in the world? Argentina, watch your back.
