Loved the tasting flights, great way to try multiple epic beers without getting floored! Knowledgeable friendly staff, great beer! Delicious pies, only improvement could’ve been to warm the plates as the mash went cold quickly.

Staff are lovely & attentive- wonderful food, 50% discount Deal during August 2020 is a massive draw for many people, but means people don't spend money on alcohol & staff don't get the tips. Learnt this 1st hand through daughter waitressing at equally cool pub. Love the staff & food here - x

Really lovely little spot, great beers. Food was good, service was fine. Kitchen closes at 7p on Sundays, and we arrived for a booking at 630p. Place was fairly quiet, with only a few tables occupied. No table service - had to order at the bar. Lovely gents behind the bar. Wasn't the best Sunday roast I've ever had but pretty good. I'd definitely visit again.

The range of beer is certainly great and as they sell flights of 1/3rds it gives you chance to sample more of them. There is also a fridge full of canned beers (at both drink-in and take-away prices) should you want something not available on keg or a couple to take home with you. Service was excellent. The only drawback for us was that it was a Sunday roast menu so rather restricted on smaller dishes.

Difficult to be objective as bar was packed with fans attending The Killers concert and staff were a little overrun as a result.
They also took ages to serve beer drinkers as they were spending a lot of time preparing cocktails.
Having said that I would go back - just when it was a little less busy.

The beer was - as ever - great. The staff did a fine job too. My biggest gripe though was how bizarrely dark it was. And was dimmed at least twice further. Otherwise it was a fine time.

Was a bit disappointed to have requested to sit in the main bar area and have booked a table for 6 to then be shown to the sofas at the back, with only space for 4. Luckily two of my party couldn’t make it in the end so it was fine, but not what I booked.
