Elegant dining and a friendly staff, Bandera has some of Corona Del Mar's most premium dishes. Perhaps one of the more interesting features is the slow roasted, almond wood-mesquite chicken which can be see and smelled by passerby's. The bar is centrally placed in the middle of the restaurant as friends and families dine around on the slightly elevated seating area surrounding it.

Excellent Barbecue  

We were on our way to an appointment yesterday when we stopped at the light at Marguerite and PCH in Corona Del Mar. We experienced the most heavenly smell and looked around to find the aroma came from Bandera. I said, "that smells like dinner to me", and we went back later. The service was excellent, great ambiance and the food was beyond great! The three of us had the beef ribs, filet mignon and chicken. The ribs were the very best with the steak next and then the chicken but they all were wonderful and the sauce on the chicken and the sides were terrific. We weren't hungry enough for appetizers and dessert, but they looked good, too. Our entrees, beverages and two beers brought the total to $100.00, but it was very worth it!
