First time visiting this restaurant as we were in the area for an ice hockey match. Great choice and food with good service. One of the group is coeliac and the staff were knowledgeable and there was a good range of options

The only critique is that my husband thought the pizza base was a little on the thick side compared to other traditional Italian restaurants (and Italy). But everything was super delicious and the service excellent making it a wonderful experience

Great food and really good value for the quality. The wine we ordered was not available and they provided more expensive wine and a lower cost which was very nice. Very big place though and I hope they get to fill it as they deserve to.

This was our first time at Il Cappero and we really enjoyed the fabulous pasta and the wonderful sea bass cooked in a very light sauce all served by the very friendly staff. We'll be back soon to try the pizzas which also looked great.

It was a quiet night in the restaurant, but the service and the food was very good.
The booth that we sat in was quite small and would be difficult if there were four adults. Next time we will request a table.

Food was good and the overall ambience. Service was mixed. At the beginning rushing to take the order before we had chance to properly look or the staff seemed distracted. Then the service became very slow. We waited for the desserts a while and then got told they had run out of one, whilst an alternative was found, the desserts were slow to arrive. The service charge is added onto the bill.

Delicious food at a fair price. The staff were really friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The portions were excellent and flavours well balanced. It was just a shame that we were the only customers there that evening which obviously affected the ambience. Would definitely go again.
