This is our second visit to to this gem of a restaurant. We have even booked it for family to return at the end of December to celebrate my 60th birthday. The food, service and quality of the ambiance is brilliant. As soon as you take your seat you feel settled and you are always greeted with a smile friendly service. 100% we will be returning again and again. Thanks Melis Restaurant.

I had a wonderful time at my son's 13th birthday celebration. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. The staff kindly brought out our birthday cake and sang "Happy Birthday." Additionally, a belly dancer performed, which was a fantastic form of entertainment.

Great menu choice with lots of different dishes. Ordered the Chicken & Lamb and liked the fact the meat was taken off the skewer before serving. Good big chunks of both meats and well cooked.
Was on Table 3 but felt Table 2 was too close as people listening to our conversation and talking across the table. Would have preferred to have a bit more space between the tables.
Otherwise a great place with real vibe and great decor.

Me and my husband really enjoyed our meals and drinks, service was excellent and I really like the decor inside, chairs very comfy too, only thing that could improve is making the restaurant warmer, I found it to be quite cold on the day we went and it was really icy outside, it would’ve been nice to walk into somewhere warm which would’ve made it more relaxing. Overall we would visit again, just put the heating on please

The food was absolutely delicious. The flavours were amazing and beautifully presented. Amazing service and very friendly staff. Will definitely be returning. The only thing that let us down was the drinks menu as under gin the price was £5 indicating they were all £5 but on receiving the bill we were charged £7.50 for each gin we purchased. The menu should be changed to read “from £5”

Very impressed with the lovely decor, very upmarket in appearance. Staff all pleasant and efficient. Food was very good overall, I had chicken and lamb skewer, unfortunately I found the lamb a little chewy which was slightly disappointing. We will certainly be going back and soon.

I have been here previously and it was faultless. I visited recently and my experience was not that good. Harlic bread was very greasy. I was brought a meal that I assumed was mine, as I said to the waitress that I had ordered garlic bread for starters and 2 starters for my main course. Rather than her take it back, I said she could leave it. The dish had filled rolls on it and I didn't know what my dish looked like. I cut myself a piece off and ate it. Our initial waitress appeared to apologise that it wasn't my meal and was told to my horror that ut was a mest fish. I'm a vegetarian and have been for over 40years. Staff were v apologetic and after our food we were invited to have a Turkish tea, which we did. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her food. We were given 10% off the final bill and a 10% off voucher for our next visit. I really do think that we shouldn't have been charged for my food, given what had happened. Not good

The music in the restaurant is definitely too loud, making it impossible to talk. The service is quite pushy. One gentleman kept coming to us and telling us half of his life story, even though we showed that we didn't want to talk to him. Toilets unpleasant to use. Dirty and neglected. They completely differ from the appearance of the premises. The food and cocktails are delicious. Beautiful decor
