You just be over 18 to attend. 6 people maximum per party. No larger, split table reservations permitted.

Booking Notes:
6 people max. Bookings are allocated time slots based on the time you wish to stay. Due to the booking system being automated, if you book from 7pm until 9pm for example... An earlier booking can finish on that same table at 7pm and also allow bookings from 9pm without a grace period. So please bare that in mind with your booking to allow yourself time to relax and not feel rushed. If you arrive early, there's a chance your table will still be occupied until the beginning of your booking time.

Frequently Asked Questions- Do you accept large bookings?
- Our largest party size we can take in our venue is 6 people at one time. We're only a small venue with 10 tables, mostly 2's, 4's and one table of 6. With the type of service/cocktails we offer, we're just not built for bigger groups since speed of service and quality tend to dip which is why we made the decision to have 6 max We've trialled larger groups in the past and it just hasn't worked out. We don't accept larger, split table bookings
- Do you accept walk-ins?
- We strongly recommend bookings as we tend to hit capacity every day. However, we do accept a small amount of walk-ins on our bar stools on a first come first serve basis. If there is nothing available on the website to allow you to book, then we would be fully booked and have walk-in space only.
- Can we stay for longer at the end of our booking?
- If you have booked a table from 5-7pm for example, the booking system then allows someone else to then book in from 7pm so we would need the table back and ready for the next booking at the time of ending. There's an option to book tables for up to 3 hours, so we recommend booking with a little flexibility in mind as our booking system is automated and that leaves it out of our hands once you have chosen your table time.

- Yes, the transaction will go through when you book, and we then take the amount off the final bill on the evening of your booking

Loved the occasion, from start to finish. Jade looked after us very well and has been well trained, she seems to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of all the cocktails and we tried some we’d never had before. The food also was excellent and we love that it’s all vegan. Only one very minor issue, found it very difficult to read the menu as it’s so dark in there but then we are of the ‘older generation’

Big respect for Speak In Code. Everything they do is their own. The cocktail are unique and great, bar food cooked fresh, staff are always friendly and informative. You can't get what they do anywhere else, yet their prices are similar/lower than generic bar chains - really great value for money. Hope SiC sticks around as a staple Mancunian institution.

Love this place and have been a few times and always recommend it to others. The team are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and the drinks and food are sublime. Booked a table in advance (2 hr slot) for a group of 5 ladies. We were a little overwhelmed by the menu - quite extensive - but we had a very knowledgeable server who basically asked us what spirits/ flavours we liked and matched drinks to us perfectly. The little food dishes were excelent too. Great place and ambiance. We were a little apprehensive as to how costly the trip may be as there was no mention anywhere before we went of prices, but I would say they are on par for this high end cocktail experience (about £12). We would definitely recommend and will be returning. A little hidden gem in Manchester.

4 of us visited SiC on Friday night ealy doors and it was busy then. Great atmosphere, staff very attentive , friendy and knowledgable and the cocktails were sublime. We didn't eat but we will next time. Well worth a visit and I recommend booking if you want a table.

I love this cosy, industrial chic cocktail bar. The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The cocktails we had were excellent and arrived quickly. The menu contains very creative recipes and the drinks we ordered were delicious.

Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much Alex, and the other guy (sorry, I didn’t get his name). The ambience is really lovely, and the guys were so informative about the cocktails.

We had such a great evening, all the staff were really well mannered, really lovely friendly and helpful. I love the background music, its not loud enough to have a conversation.
I love the setting, tables, how dim the light is, its a great venue.
The only thing that could be improved is the drinks, the ice seems to make up 50% of the drinks, for that reason the drinks seem a bit overpriced.
But apart from that everything else is great, including customer service
