Hyggelig restaurant med sød personale, men billeder på menuen (som åbenbart var vejledende) og maden der blev serveret stemte ikke overens, så en tallerken med rent kød vi bestilte var en tredjedel kartoffel og måske 10 små stykker kød, der stod heller ikke at der var ris til, så vi bestilte nudler til som var lidt unødvendigt.
Desværre er den ene part af os to der var afsted blevet syg med mave onde og har kastet op (blandt andet) siden vi vente hjem. Ærgeligt

Excellent Chinese food in Aarhus. We are visiting for a few days and I had a taste for Chinese food. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. It is s five minute walk from the train station. You can book s table online. We csme back again the next night with a friend. Couldn't recommend it higher.

This is the most authentic Chinese/Cantonese restaurant in Aarhus, maybe even in the whole Denmark! The food was really delicious, but maybe somewhat a bit short on the pork and seafood in the main course.. Though we were disappointed that the Hong Kong style marinaret pork was sold out . Otherwise it was a great experience. I would most definitely recommend Yi East to all my friends and family.

Great and affordable place to go with friends. They are more than able to deal with a lager party! We didn’t wait long for any of the food to arrive and the quality of the food was amazing! Great food and a very nice restaurant. The water was also pleasant and nice, but we got no guidance at all. We had to ask if there was a testing menu (it is on the web, but it was not on the menu we were handed) The waiter did not do anything to help us even it was quite obvious we were new guests and did not know the concept. She was a nice person, but we could have used some more help in order for it to be a 10-experience. If we were helped a bit more and introduced to menu possibilities it could easily be a 10, because the food was great

The food was amazing and the waitresses were really nice and accommodating! The only thing that bothered me, was that the sorrounding, empty tables weren´t being cleared until we were about to leave. The tables just stood there with the dirty dishes for almost our entire stay - leaving an impression of the sorrounding environment as "dirty"/"unsanatized" and cluttered.

The food was good and the service too. Every dish was delicious; nicely warm and the taste of freshnesh.
The only thing we could point out as need of improvement, is the cleaning of the folders with the menu and the bottles with chili and soyasauce. Both was sticky.

We waited about 15 minutes before we were able to ask a waiter for a menu card for the desserts and then an additional 15 minutes before they took our order. After that it took about another 15 minutes to make 3 black coffees. Other than that the service was good.

Det var lækkert mad, vi var et selskab på 5 og ville have nogen små retter vi kunne dele så alle kunne smage, der kunne vi godt have brugt lidt info på prisen for at få en enkelt mere (altså feks 1 bao, og 1 soup dumpling mere) da vi kunne se da vi fik regningen at det bedre kunne have betalt sig at have taget en hel portion mere end bare at have fået 1 mere, der kom lige 200 kr oven i regningen næsten på de 2 3 retter hvor vi lige sku have 1 ekstra bid.
Ellers var smagen af det hele ganske fin

Fint med kinesisk servering, men når 1 person ud af 7 ikke har fået nogle af sine bestillinger før alle andre er færdige med at spise, holder det ikke rigtig. Nævnte de manglende retter efter 45 min og 2 min efter stod det på bordet...

I lover the atmosphere in the restaurant and the waiters were all good and friendly. The food tasted very good but you definitely have to be better on serving the plates on the same time. From we got in the first course it took 15 min before the next course came and the after 30-40 min the last course. So we couldn’t enjoy our food together and that makes the experience very sad. So please improve this because you got a nice place with tasty food.
