Our waiter was horrible. Ordered a filet and he insisted that it had to be butterflied, therefore, it was thin, overcooked and dry. Normally one of my favorite restaurants but definitely not this time.

We are so glad you are open!
My Salmon was ordered cooked through and was not done when I received it. I sent it back and when I received food it was the same salmon I had sent back that I had forked apart! We are locals and usually eat at Chucks every two weeks and when we have guests which was this occasion. Please monitor your cooks! I felt like my first bite of salmon was raw and mushy. Since my son was taking us out for anniversary I did not want to complain! Thank you for asking for feedback!

Our dinner was excellent. The prime rib was cooked to perfection! We had wings for an appetizer which were delicious. We were disappointed that the patio was not open. The only thing I would change is the price of the salad bar. When you order a sandwich, it is $7.95 to add on one trip to the salad bar. That is pricey for a salad.

Excellent food and service in this restaurant that has been in business since 1979. They have a salad bar that is very reminiscent of the salad bars of long ago. Everything fresh and tasty and most import of all well kept up and clean. The prices are reasonable and they have early bird specials between 4-6pm and seniors menu (55 and up) all evening.

The food was good as usual. But, this year I did have some Covid concerns. If you are a person that cares about this, the employees were wearing masks, and the tables were spaced out ok. However, the salad bar area was crowded. They did provide a glove to use, but there were too many people in the area for my liking. I also saw many customers allowed to enter the restaurant and walk around without masks.

We have been there twice now and both times the food has been average. What was most disturbing, however, was that the food was handled without any gloves by the person helping prepare our meal. We were able to watch from our table. The gentleman also had a beard without any type of beard shield to protect the food being prepared.

We had reservations, but were running late due a wreck on the highway. We called to let them know we would be late...they were super nice and accommodating. Upon arriving 15 minutes late, we were taken directly to our table. Our waiter offered some of the best service we have every had and all the food was delicious. The best steakhouse we’ve found at the beach! We’re telling everyone how great it was and we’ll definitely be back on our next vacation!

Even tho the food was excellent, we were VERY disappointed in the lack of safeguards at this time of risk. There was no social distancing of the patrons (the restaurant was packed!), and most of the servers were not wearing protective gear. We're glad that Chuck's did not close down as originally planned, but we won't be returning until the threat of pandemic has diminished.

I ordered the Senior menu filet mignon to be pink. Our orders came and mine was butterflied. I was never told this was the way it was served. Consequently, I sent the whole plate back, everyone at my table ate their dinners. Mine finally came without my side and had to wait again for what I paid for. Not an enjoyable Mother’s Day meal. Was never offered a free drink, dessert or anything for my inconvenience. Not very happy..

We had company in from out of town and this was our first time.I was very dissapointed that my husband's steak did not come out as ordered! He will not send food back if it is wrong so this ruined the whole experience for all of us. He says that if you are paying that much for a steak it should be cooked the way that you order it...
The waitress was nice enough and the salad bar is really good and I would love to come back and try again but he says that he cannot do it..

This was our first visit to Chucks, Healthy state of mind, as we saw most patrians wearing masks until seated, and most of the staff wearing masks as well,.... I think everyone should be wearing masks if up and about. I think that could be stressed to the staff to ensure everyone’s safety. We had a very enjoyable time, food was great, salad bar kept stocked and fresh! We will definitely go back!

What a wonderful experience for our first time!
Checking in was a bit difficult ( we made a reservation and had it modify it ) the hostess seemed put off, but we had received a confirmation that the modification went through.
Once we were sat, we enjoyed everything! The salad bar is so fresh and our food was exceptional! Best

If your looking for full compliance with CDC this isn’t the place. The hostesses don’t wear masks, some waitstaff aren’t wearing masks. Our waitress did and asked us to wear our mask but lots of people won’t wear them to the salad bar. One guy was on his phone talking while getting stuff from the salad bar and no mask. Signs on door state wear a mask to your table and we saw several guests not wearing any. So just be warned this place is not in full compliance

However, no tables were marked off. Tables set just like pre-Covid.

Very crowded seating. Waitress forgot appetizers had to wait quite a while to ask for them as she never stopped by after drinks. Stwak and lobster $42. Lobster tail out of shell flattened. Grilled to charred. Tasted like charred. Sent back. Waitress stopped back to update. Said sorry taking so long - said cook had attitude about replacement. Steak over cooked. We were there last August loved it. Came back in May and after this-- most likely won't be back next trip.

The food was wonderful; but the waitress was to occupied with other workers and not very attentive. We had finished our salads and our drinks arrived when the food from the kitchen came; we even reminded her we did not have drinks and she still took even longer.

The food was delicious and the waiter was excellent.
I was very disappointed in the safety measure being taken at the restaurant during this pandemic.
I was happy to see gloves at the salad bar but the mask wearing not being enforced while at the salad bar was kind of disheartening and dangerous to me.
The kitchen staff also were not all wearing face masks while preparing the food.
Between these 2 things, we probably will not return to this restaurant until the covid issue has been resolved.
Such a shame as the food is so good and the waitstaff is excellent
