Our tearoom is small and cozy. If you would like to have Afternoon Tea or High Tea with us, please make a reservation. We are not able to accommodate walk-ins for Afternoon Tea. Of course, our EatMe!/DrinkMe! counter offers an amazing selection of items, no reservations needed! You are welcome to enjoy your snacks and drinks on the patio, but during the summer months the tables in the tea room are reserved for Afternoon Tea service only.

Due to Covid19 - we currently cannot accommodate parties or large groups (more than 6 people).
No. We do not offer character meet and greet.
Alice in the Village has no affiliation with Disney. We are a Tea Room and we do not offer a “Disney experience” like rides or attractions.
Unfortunately we can't accommodate food allergies requests. If you have a certain food allergy, we will not be able to guarantee an allergen free food. Our other location at Foxboro MA is able to accommodate some food allergies.
Afternoon tea is a delicious three-course meal served on a tiered stand. It’s a filling meal that is sure to satisfy even the most voracious appetites! The bottom tier is full of hearty savories that can include different types of unique sandwiches and quiche. The middle tier holds freshly baked warm scones with fruit preserves and devon cream The top tier overflows with delicious and decadent sweets and desserts guaranteed to leave a smile on all our guests. And of course a pot of tea!
Throughout the year, we offer special themed tea services. While we will always remain an Alice in Wonderland tea room, our food and desserts will be inspired from other great characters in literature or popular culture. (We wish we could transform the decor for each special event!) Check our menus page for more information. ​
We have designed our tea service to be enough food for one person. If you would like to share, then we will be obliged to charge you a shared plate fee of. We really appreciate your understanding of this annoying policy.

The food was good, I would have liked some fruit for 30$ a plate. Also the sweets/desserts were way too sweet for me, but very pretty. The service was excellent! The bathroom needs attention! Very gloomy and dark, hole in the wall behind trash can, definitely expected it to be theme oriented as well and colorful, for that type of money.

Never has there been a worst tourist trap. They give tons of warnings regarding cancelling our reservation but in the end it would have been worth paying the $30 cancellation fee. When we arrived there were zero customers seated at the tables. Yet the waitresses seemed irritated that we were so early and told us to come back in 15 min. They sat a party of six that had come in behind us, so when we came back in 15 min there was one other table besides us. One. There was only one option on the menu and that was the $39 per person tea. Which had ZERO adaptability to dietary requirements and looked like it had all be bought at Market Basket's bakery section. None of the food was real or authentic. It was all cheap processed sugar. Our service was underwhelming. The worst part was the whole experience cost $80. And we KNOW the food didn't cost that and definitely wasn't worth it. I don't recommend.

From the moment you walk in you’re treated like family. It was an awesome experience. Then the food came! Piles of it, and every bit of it was excellent. From the finger sandwiches to every dessert everything was fantastic. The witches brew we started off with was a little sweet for my taste. I’ve already booked November 3 when they switch themes. I highly recommend doing this at least once! Thanks for a great experience

I really enjoyed my tea experience. The server was great and loved the Paris tea! Just wish it would have been a little more adult themed - not so much on the candy and sweets. Maybe do like a UK sort of theme with a type of sandwich or pastry traditionally from Ireland, Scotland, and England.

I was highly dissapointed for the cost. I brought two-7yr old girls to see Alice, and no staff was dressed up. After asking if they did roleplay I was told "Sometimes". I feel like I was robbed. Will never recommend this place to anyone and will in fact turn them away.

Lovely day out with my granddaughters. The service was great. Everyone was friendly. The shop and bathroom were clean. The food was not particularly good. The sandwiches were flavorless and the quiche was soggy. The desserts were a bit stale and the scone fell apart. If they upgrade the food it would be exceptional!

My daughter and I had 1 pm reservations for Easter Sunday. The server was in grubby jeans, the small restaurant area was dark and drab. While the food was good and plentiful, the whole experience was blah because of lackluster ambience and the dress of the waitress. We did it once, but never again. I have visited Alice in the Village twice for their themed tea parties. Both the high fairytale tea and Tim Burton tea were a lot of fun! The desserts at Alice in the Village are the best part, they are beautiful and delicious! The decor in Alice in whimsical and there is a cool merchandise that customers can purchase. Even to grab a boba tea to go, Alice in the Village is a unique experience!

I cannot recommend Alice in the Village and their Wizard's Tea high enough! I have never done a "tea experience", but would go back again and again. Firstly, the ease with which I was able to reserve a time was great! Second - the FOOD and TEA! Oh my goodness, sandwiches, scones and dessert PLUS a special wizards brew and perfectly steeped tea. Finally, our server and hostess - Kelly. Not only knowledgeable about the food and tea, but delivered a "hooting" good time! If you are ever in Mystic and have the time, book yourself a tea at Alice in the Village. You won't be disappointed!

It was my first time going after seeing an ad about it on social media. Absolutely 100% would love to come again. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the items on the menu and helped tremendously with making sure we knew exactly what we were getting for the menu as well as making sure there were no allergies to worry about. I really enjoyed the character atmosphere in Alice in the Village. It was a birthday celebration for my friend and a little gift at the end of our meal was spot on!! I know it's COVID requirements to have the place clean but when we came in, it was such a strong bleach smell that took us off guard and our eyes were watering. Maybe if it's possible to use a different cleaner less stronger. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Lovely visit to Alice yesterday. The tea room is probably more chi chi in ordinary times with a lot of frilly decorations but they did a great job under the confines of the COVID restrictions. Kudos to the staff for their attentiveness. We had a great assortment of foods. We brought home half and had two more servings with family. Will consider a return trip after COVID to enjoy the full ambiance.

Service was excellent. Food plentiful and tasty. The tea room had little ambiance, which is really a big part of the experience. There was a cheery fireplace, but extra chairs were piled up to the left and cardboard boxes on the floor to the right.

We celebrated our daughter's 22nd birthday. It was absolutely lovely. The appointment system worked well and we felt safe and that the appropriate COVID19 precautions were taken. We will definitely be back again soon!

The staff were friendly and courtious. I don't like pumpkin spice so would have liked to been able to choose the type of tea to have. An opinion shared by most of our party. Over all it was a very good experience.

Tables needed painting. Items were old..like tea cart. Some sandwiches were not fresh( esp chicken salad sandwich). Desserts were good. Child's portion not at all a good value. Too expensive. Servers,at least, should dress as a character from Alice. This is DEFINITELY not a place to treat a young grandchild under the age of 14 or so.

We loved the ambience, the service and food presentation. It was expensive but we understand it takes time to create a beautiful and tasty menu which it was. I appreciated that our server knew exactly which items my daughter with food allergy to nuts should avoid. I have two suggestions: 1) Give people a chance to fill out a food allergy questionnaire at time of reservation. For example, would AITV have been willing to remove cheese or cream from one serving ahead of time for someone with dairy allergy? I just avoided those items but many of the items included it. 2) Smaller bite-size portions of the quiche and scones and perhaps mini cupcakes would have allowed us to taste more while there. We got full so fast but at least we got to enjoy the rest at home. Overall, everything was fantastic. Thank you!

The food and drinks were great. Our waitress was very attentive; no complaints. The decor was adorable! Suggested improvements: It took a bit of time for us to be acknowledged (and we were right on time), to the point where I had to stop someone to ask if we were standing in the right place. Our reservation was at 2:30, so while we were there, it appeared that they might have been preparing items for the next day. Consequently it got quite noisy from the kitchen with what sounded like mixers going while we were trying to converse. Maybe a door between the kitchen and dining area would help. All in all, though, it was lovely.

For the price, the food and experience is not worth it. This was our third time at an Alice’s and it will be our last. We will not be returning. The quality and taste of the food was mediocre at best. Our server forgot some pieces that we had to ask for. Then we were told we had to go down to the cloak and wand for the portion mixing portion of the experience. We went there and they were closed! I called and They said they could just bring it out to us. We received a canned energy drink for the adult and a tiny little soda with a couple of fizzy tabs. Seriously? We were highly disappointed and will not be returning.

Super fun time at Wizards High Tea with my Mother and Sister from NJ. The attention to little details and spells was really cute. This was my second visit and I really have enjoyed it both times. Jessica (I think) was our server both times and she's lovely...attentive and thorough, pleseant and fun! Everyone there is very nice.

We really enjoyed our first experience at Alice in the Village Mystic & have already booked a 2nd Tea (Wizards) in the Foxboro location. I could have easily given a "10" in all areas but there were a few things that weren't exactly 10 worthy: While the food quality was excellent, a few of the items listed on the menu were not included on our trays. This may have been because they were out (we were there on the last day of Wonka) but it would have been nice to have known that in advance. In some cases, there were substitutions (i.e. potato salad for pasta salad) but in other cases (chips, grapes) nothing was substituted. Tough with kids! Also, the servers were great & helpful, but clearly overwhelmed. Finally, the ambiance is charming but I think the tea room needs a little refreshing. It felt on the cusp of being rundown & in need of a good cleaning/repaint. In normal times, I might even give less than a 9 for these, but in the pandemic, we're all doing our best & I suspect that plays into the minor issues. Such a wonderful concept & fun for all ages - can't wait to return for the different themes!!

Allice in the Village is a GREAT tea house! The luncheon tea was outstanding. Delicious food, very nice tea selection, and outstanding wait staff. I took my wife there for her birthday and we have a wonderful experience enjoying an afternoon tea. The chocolate chip scones were out of this world, and Kellie took outstanding care of us. Definitely worth repeat visits.
