We had a very, very nice evening. The courtyard looked wonderful. The staff was extremely gracious. Bacchanal's own signature wine is super! The food was fine, not great. Only the Wagu Beef was especial. But Bacchanal is ambience and wine. Nothing was over priced, and THAT matters. We xo Bacchanal.

We live right around the corner. Everything was lovely. Food was tasty. My cocktail was fantastic. Social distancing was respected and handled really nicely. Happy you’re open again!

My favorite little hole in the wall in Nola. I stumbled upon it last year. Every time I’m in town I go. With social distancing, they’ve got it DOWN. Everything was clean. Everything was well thought out. And as always, the food was fantastic (get the meatballs if they have them). Wine selection was amazing as well as reasonably priced. I’d live there if I could. Thanks, Bacchanal. Keep it up. I’ll be back.

Bacchanal has done a fantastic job of redesigning their customer experience in light of the Pandemic. Their protocols are spot on - not only do the guests feel safe, but they have taken great measures to make sure the staff is protected as well. This has always been one of our favorite go-to spots, and although the lack of live music has deterred us recently - we will put that aside and come back again and again!

Celebrated a social-distanced 28th year! The staff + guests all adhered to the guidelines put in place which made me feel safe & at ease. Food + wine was delicious as always. Glad to see that has remained the same in the midst of so much change.

Y’all did a great job! I never felt unsafe and the service was impeccable! I loved that we weren’t rushed out either. This was my first outing since March and it was the right way to ease into some sort of social life

We need some plain type of stuff on the menu. Big juicy burgers. Possibly gourmet pizzas. Bigger portions of fish and meat. It was good though.

I missed the live music and look forward to going back when that can resume. The music playing wasn’t loud enough to hear and add to the experience. It needs to be loud enough to hear while we wait for live entertainment.

Thank you! Overall our experience was very nice. Me and my group felt safe and it "felt normal" for a little while. All and all a 10!!! The only feedback I have- is that the food was less impressive than it has been in the past. The service was a little spotty, but that was only bc we didn't realize until the night was almost over everything we needed was in a bucket on the table... oh well... lol... and we missed the live music. Like I said, very minimal feedback. Please know we very much enjoyed our time and plan to return, hopefully before the end of the month! <3

Since no table service, it would have been nice to have a "floater" who could wander from table to table to answer questions about the new way things are being done. We had questions about food and drink menu but no one wandered to answers questions before you went to the window to order. I hated holding up the line at the window with questions but there was no one else to help. Also there is a 2-hour time limit for your table that we were unaware of until we got our 15-minute warning that our table was reserved for the next time slot and we needed to be gathering up our stuff and leaving. Just a couple things that are temporary during this time but could have been handled a bit friendlier. Thanks

I realize it is COVID-19 time so there was no live music. That is the only reason I didn’t rate it a bit higher. We enjoyed our first visit to Bacchanal and will be back. Without music it allowed our group to have a nice conversation. The wine and charcuterie tray were good and reasonably priced.

A few pricing errors on their new menu for COVID. I ordered a 48.50 bottle of wine, then received different bottle with an a 28.00 sticker price. I went to see to get it adjusted, then it was revealed that the 28.00 bottle was priced on the menu for 70.00! So they found errors on their menu while I was so confused. Not going back til everything is completely normal. The staff was nice and the ambience was sorta there, but I rather wait til it’s mostly normal.

I have been there many times when things were "normal" and adore this restaurant. My experience here during COVID-19 was less than impressive. The staff did take measures seriously with sanitation and limiting contact however it did impact the level of hospitality. The food was disappointing to say the least. The cheese board allowed zero substitutions and consisted of a mediocre selection of blue cheese, goat cheese and a semi hard cheese. The Charcuterie upgrade was 8 dollars of Salami that you can get at Winn Dixie. The menu selection was limited and options were not impressive. The grilled corn was extremely salty, the wedge salad had barely and meat and it took 20 extra minutes to get our meatballs that were ordered at the same time as the rest of the food. We did not have enough silverware or cups to start the evening and it was hard to get a runners attention. I was also disappointed that with a wine purchase, they would ice down your wine with 1 scoop of ice that would cover not even half of the wine bottle. In 90 degree weather you can see how this would be annoying when you order a white wine and it quickly becomes hot. When I requested more ice I was looked at like I had 5 heads. Frustrating experience since I normally enjoy it so much.

We had a wonderful time and sincerely applaud you all for the number of safe protocols you follow. By far the best we have seen at any restaurant. We did experience one minor hiccup when we arrived. It seemed the hostess couldn't communicate with the staff to confirm which table to seat us. I get it – everyone is learning new systems. No big deal. Eventually, we were given a table. It was lovely in the courtyard and we were enjoying ourselves. Our food was rushed though. It tasted delicious but since it came out all at once we focused on eating. When we finished we were about to order another bottle of wine when a server asked us to leave because they needed the table. This struck me as really rude for several reasons. One we were spending money, we had a reservation which stated we had the table for two hours, we were only there for an hour and, several other tables around us were there long before us and were not asked to leave to make room. I realize you all need to turn over the tables with limited space but we weren't lingering for an excessive amount of time and had just finished our food. We wanted to enjoy another bottle of wine. If we had been there for a long stretch of time, spent barely any money, or lingered after hours I could see asking us to leave but, under these circumstances, we left feeling rushed and evicted and it changed the dynamic of our evening. We definitely will be back because we felt safe there with all the protocols and it was a lovely atmosphere as usual. Since everyone is learning how to do their best in this crazy new world, hopefully, my feedback will help make everyone's experience better - including my own next time I dine with you all.
