History of GENGY'S. The theme of Gengy's is originated from the founder of Mongol Empire who had invaded and conquered most of Europe, Asia, and Africa with his warriors. After they had won a battle they had a huge victory feast in the shelter with their shields turned upside down over the roaring campfires and cooks the newly discovered meats and vegetables native to the conquered lands. Gengy's restaurants have captured the idea of this fresh and tasty style of cuisine, and approached them in more modern and hygienic style. Come and discover our food!

Restaurant was fully booked which is great to see in the current climate of restaurants closing and financial hardship all around. Quality of food is great and relationship between quality and amount of food and price is superb! Maybe another reason why it was so busy. Cooking staff were excellent, waitering on staff a bit behind tasks, but it did not really disturb us

This was a great vibrant place to have an end of the year get together. The food was amazing. Loved it. The chefs were fun. I e front if house staff, I forgot to get her was lovely. She was friendly and gave great advice. The others were quite sour in my view, but I suppose after a night of lots of people you can get a but toey. Over all, a great night. Will go back.

Highly recommend especially if you are like us and don’t like to muck around waiting for orders to be taken and food to be served. The food is sooo good and there is so much choice. The staff are friendly and efficient and are always ensuring plates are cleared and food choices are stocked. I had enough food for 3 meals + pudding so left very satisfied and happy (maybe 3kgs heavier lol). We will be back - a new Family fAV

We loved everything. However, were disappointed to find out right at the end that we did not get a discount for our 2 (twin) daughters that we were celebrating the 16th birthday here. The table was booked for 6 people. My son was paying. He said that it's the girls' birthday that very day, 3rd September. He paid. Only the next day we realised that it was the FULL payment charged - for 6 adults!

Overall a reall nice meal. Quick with our drinks and the food I cooked perfect. The only thing I didn't like was we were seated next to a table where the child was watching little kid videos full volume that was really annoying

The kids absolutely love this place. It’s great for family birthday’s and groups. Would be nice to have labels on oils and food that comes from packaging etc, of what they contain for us that have allergies: eg- gluten dairy free, wheat, contains nuts etc. The staff are great though and cook mine out the back separately being Gluten and dairy free.

We booked our sitting from 5:30pm - 7:00pm for 7 people celebrating my husband's birthday. We'd had a good experience enjoying the food & ambience until 7pm. My husband & stepson were waiting for their last plate of food & missed the 15 minute warning that we were to leave at 7pm as did I. They needed 5 minutes to eat what was on their plate however that wasn't an option. We were told to leave another party we're coming in at 7:15pm we waited outside no party arrived the place was empty at 7:20pm. The girl in charge was rude and inflexible with zero customer service skills. We understand the sitting rules however some flexibility and how you handle a situation with care & understanding would have left a better impression.

The service ws amazing, we got a niece in a wheelchair n where the table that ws set for us her wheelchair can't fit properly there. One of the worker such a very nice lady move all other table jst for us so we can move to for the wheelchair. We had an amazing time. The food ws great service amazing thank you so much.

our server was a young girl ( blonde hair if you want to be precise) she was great. also really good with handling dishes etc. The food was pretty alright, like it was good. when we paid etc they were not really clear where we were sitting so maybe more communication from that please. overall LOVED our seats. We loved dining here and always do. However this time was a little frustrating as we ordered our drinks. The girl who served us obviously wasn't listening or heard us right and instead of getting a spider drink as requested we were given a sprite. After letting them know she told us to keep the sprite and then came back to tell us that if we want a spider we needed to pay for it. My husband is a chef and at his place they would not have the customers pay again when it's at no fault of their own. Hoping next time you will do better.

Prepaying for our meals. This needs to be made clear and it needs to be communicated to the customer when checking in. The whole checking in was so awkward and made more so by waitress. I understand why they need to do this but explain it to the customer! Food was yum though. Great mahi to the guys cooking the kai.

We booked online for 5.30 dining yet didn’t get to our table until 20 minutes after the doors opened. Standing outside in the cold blustery wind with many others was not ideal particularly for older diners. Would really love to see an online payment option to enable those who have used online booking to pay prior to arrival and be checked in sooner. Also, it appeared the ceiling extraction system wasn’t coping with the large amount of smoke being generated by the BBQ platform. Made for a very smokey environment and I smelt like a Mongolian BBQ Chef when I got home

The Floor at the rear was so slippery children were falling over & crying and you had to shuffle not lifting your feet from the floor. Notified staff & told it was humidity. Regardless it was dangerous for customers, putting them at risk.

When we arrived the lady seemed mad so our first impression wasnt pleasent.. Food was nice but we didnt see what sauces were recomended for meat.. but at the time i didnt see that their was that on the wall.. chips where drinks were hella expensive cold amd old.. Overall nice venue... not bad food.. thank you
