Great welcome and excellent service.
We ordered some olives and bruschetta to start which were very tasty and nicely presented. All four mains were superb, all chosen from the Panis house specialities menu. A bottle of house red was served at the perfect temperature and was enjoyed by the whole table.

Always an enjoyable experience dining at Pani’s which is evidenced by the full restaurant. I honestly cannot find anything to fault. We ordered a wine and they brought a different one and we did not notice (too busy talking). The wine had a very similar name to the one we ordered. It was a genuine mistake but the wine they brought was more expensive. When we pointed out the mistake, they happily adjusted the wine price. Excellent customer service

Pani's is delicious food, beautifully prepared. You can tell the staff love their restaurant and thieir food. The restaurant has a lovely hip and cosy setting, largely tucked away on a lower floor. The only thing I find hard is it can be noisy and then I struggle to hear my friend's conversations (most people don't find it a problem though). Despite that I always try to come when I'm in Newcastle, it's a real treat!

Absolutely amazing. Found it by accident but what a find! To have a full restaurant at 6 o'clock on a Tuesday must say something. The food really second to none. Wine is also excellent. Service is fantastic. Restaurant can be noisy though. Will definitely return.

Went for lunch with my two nieces who had not been to Panis before. The meal was excellent, two starters and one pork main dish from the specials board and the rest from the main menu. The staff were attentive and friendly. It is a lovely venue. Very relaxing and enjoyable experience.
