The owners of Peyote have a simple mission - to bring fresh, exciting and flavourful authentic Mexican cooking to the people of Low Fell and its environs. “We aim to demonstrate that Mexican food, good Mexican food, is not all chili and fajitas; it is fresh and vibrant and as hot as you want it to be - that is why we provide only table sauces made in Mexico! We want people to discover the different flavours of the various Mexican moles, or sauces, and taste the difference with our soft corn tacos.”
Great food and great service
Lovely restaurant, fab food and fab atmosphere
Beautiful food and lovely staff
Lovely service and delicious food
Great food, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great night!
Great place. Have already recommended it to people. Hope they do well!
Great little find, owner was friendly and spot on despite being busy. We will definitely be returning!
Really enjoyed the night! Will be back very soon
The food was very tasty, lots of variety to choose from. The value for money is amazing and excellent service! I already know what I will be ordering upon my return.
Fantastic family meal. Great service. Lovely local business
Great service, fantastic food. Couldn’t fault it
A lovely night, good food. The steak in my dish was a bit tough but all other choices were delicious. They serve a great margarita too! Only one waiter in and he did a great job of serving the food with a smile and also managing the bar, well done!
Fantastic host couldn't have done more for us ! First visit and will definitely return! We each ordered something different and everyone enjoyed ! A fab evening by all!
The incredible service cannot be over exaggerated. Ambiance is fun, but I personally would prefer salsa music rather than the club music. The churros, guacamole, refried bean tacos, and cocktails were awesome (best margaritas ever), but I’ve definitely had much better carne asada and the filling in the veggie empanadas was really disappointing, it had ZERO flavour and is in desperate need of some spices. The salsa could also be more fresh, it was soggy and tastes like something mass produced. You should consider putting chimichangas on the dessert menu :) Overall, not to be missed! P.S. get longer paper straws
Had a long wait for food but staff kept us up to date and very apologetic - meal nice and overall experience ok. Will probably be back to try a different meal as never had Mexican before
