The owners of Peyote have a simple mission - to bring fresh, exciting and flavourful authentic Mexican cooking to the people of Low Fell and its environs. “We aim to demonstrate that Mexican food, good Mexican food, is not all chili and fajitas; it is fresh and vibrant and as hot as you want it to be - that is why we provide only table sauces made in Mexico! A lovely night, good food. The steak in my dish was a bit tough but all other choices were delicious. They serve a great margarita too!
Only one waiter in and he did a great job of serving the food with a smile and also managing the bar, well done!

The incredible service cannot be over exaggerated. Ambiance is fun, but I personally would prefer salsa music rather than the club music.
The churros, guacamole, refried bean tacos, and cocktails were awesome (best margaritas ever), but I’ve definitely had much better carne asada and the filling in the veggie empanadas was really disappointing, it had ZERO flavour and is in desperate need of some spices. The salsa could also be more fresh, it was soggy and tastes like something mass produced.
You should consider putting chimichangas on the dessert menu :)
Overall, not to be missed!

Had a long wait for food but staff kept us up to date and very apologetic - meal nice and overall experience ok.
Will probably be back to try a different meal as never had Mexican before
