From our booking to being seated to our meal being served & it was 1st class service our 1st time spent was just perfect. In my opinion nothing could be improved upon. It seems to be run extremely well....a huge thank you to all.

My first visit to The Loch. Food was excellent and the service was first rate. Lovely location too. Only one issue. There was no dessert menu. Cake/muffins etc were available but no desserts as such.

We enjoyed our booking and stayed longer and ordered more drinks as the atmosphere was lovely. I must say I visited the toilets and was appalled, these really do need some work, I left and had to visit the Royal Quays to use the toilets there.

The Lock was a first for us. We found the parking arrangements a bit tricky. Had I known earlier, I’d have just parked out on the road and paid nothing for the pleasure. However, knowing how these parking company’s operate, I bought an hours worth of parking (1hr) then moved the car out onto the street. Just annoying though probably not of The Locks making. Us three adults all opted for the full sized portion of fish and chips and our granddaughter asked for her favourite Chicken nuggets and chips. The Adults didn’t leave much on their plates, but it was a bit of a struggle!

Love this place food is delicious, great staff and great ambience being able to look over the marina. Never rushed when eating food either, staff are always pleasant and even better to get a voucher for the car park

The Lock is a very nice place to be. We booked a table and were given a lovely spot with marina views to three sides. The food and service was excellent. The only negative feedback was from the access and parking. Despite being able to park our car in the disabled area, we were expected to pay for the space. The website states free parking. This is incorrect. The car park uses Parking Eye. Therefore, you are charged the minute you enter the area. Anyone using the restaurant should be clearly informed before they arrive.

Food is always great but each time I come in I feel like it takes the servers a long time to acknowledge that I am there - it can take a while sometimes and some servers just walk past you at the door - once at table it can take a while to order food - be good is servers were more aware of their tables - love the food though and value for money - Shame service doesn’t always match
