We had a lovely time at the View, staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, we had a club salad and fish and chips. My only negative was that the high chairs aren’t great for smaller babies as they aren’t really high enough for the tables. They are fine for toddlers. This didn’t really take anything from our visit. Thank you for a good overall lunch experience!

I was accompanied today on my visit to the view by an elderly neighbour. The staff could not have been nicer, taking the time and having patience with her. Overall, a very pleasant experience. If there was any negativity, it was down to the service being s little slow, nsinly down to the fact that there seemed to be to few staff working the tables. Those that were working them however were polite, smiling and seemed to be trying to make up for any delays. So a very well done to them. Certainly I will be back to The View in the future!!

I feel bad complaining but one of us ordered beans on toast which was I think £7 and when it came it was toast and a small bamboo “boat” of beans which amounted to perhaps a heaped tablespoon which was disappointing. Everything else though was wonderful. We should have said something at the time, admittedly. The service was excellent and everyone was extremely attentive.

We had booked a table for 6 for my Son's birthday. There was quite a queue when we arrived (drop-ins) but we were seated straight away because we had reserved a table. The staff were very friendly, attentive and organised. Our food ranged from pizza, scampi, salmon, wraps to seafood linguine. All of which was very tasty. My Son was given a huge chocolate muffin at the end of our meal for his Birthday, which was a nice touch. The whole place was full of chatter, old/young, mixed company, small children and we loved it. Booking is a must. It was great

What a great venue.Great views of Longsands beach. The food was great, we had Cod and chips which were cooked to perfection.The best thing though we're the staff.They were very attentive,happy and helpful. There was a 3 course offer available which was very good value for money. My husband and my mother in law had this offer. there wasn’t any starters on the menu so that I could have 1 with them as well. So just waited for my main. Seen scones in the cabinet which looked gorgeous I must say. But once again no proves or even on menu. We came tea time. 1st time there. Great value for money. Gorgeous meal. Great selection Loved the interior. Would definately come back. Staff were lovely.

Our 2nd breakfast experience last weekend.First being by accident really as it was raining.on both occasions everything was superb.can’t beat quality produce with a great view.what a way to start the day after travelling up from Leeds.This will become our regular without doubt.

We visited The View to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. We had hoped to go to the Park Hotel where we were married but as it is being refurbished we looked for somewhere close by. We were very happy with the alternative, lovely food and drink and will definitely go back
