This was our first visit since it was the Bolton Arms. Our last experience whilst the Bolton Arms was very disappointing but decided to try the new pub. We were not disappointed at all. Everything was excellent and when we are back in the area again we will definitely come back.

Great experience and lovely pub. Accommodated our extra person easily , vegetarian offer good and gluten free request easily . Had dogs which we stated when booking who were easily accomodated. Excellent draught beer selection also which was added extra. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Our stay at the Redmire Village pub was a great experience. We enjoyed some excellent food, especially the breakfast which was amongst the best we've had. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely return and recommend the pub to our friends.

We first came here many years ago and were sad to see that it had closed when we came by last year. Now however, it is back up and running as a proper village pub with great food and ales mostly sourced locally. I had the steak pudding, so yummy! Will definitely be back for more next time we are near Redmire.

Gemma looked after us, food, service everything was really great - apart from the haunted house squeaky door to and from the kitchen / we laughed with Gemma about it, didn’t spoil our evening but it does need attending to asap

Everything was pleasant. The young lady originally brought one meal wrong but very quickly and pleasantly put this right, which is what counts.
Only negative was the price of sweets, £10!
All in all though very good, much better than the Cover Bridge where a poor experience was simply shrugged off by an uninterested landlord.

We had Sunday lunch here. It was tasty with a good portion size & reasonably priced. Service was friendly and polite but dessert, which was cheesecake took 1/2 an hour to arrive, seemed excessive as the pub wasn't particularly busy.

As visitors to the village for about 8 years we were very pleased to see the pub open & busy again, the restaurant area is still, I understand being upgraded & has a nice ambiance, the only thing I think let’s it down against other places in the area is the limited choice of food, the evening we were there one item had run out & a couple walked out saying there wasn’t anything that they liked. With a more choice such as salads, a veggie option, fish & perhaps a real basic like scampi I’m sure the village pub will thrive.

They were extremely busy with locals drinking in the pub - this was a lovely to see. However, young staff left in charge of the main dining room were clearly overwhelmed and lacked experience.
