Absolutely wonderful evening, first visit since the new owners and we were not disappointed! Gemma looked after us, food, service everything was really great - apart from the haunted house squeaky door to and from the kitchen / we laughed with Gemma about it, didn’t spoil our evening but it does need attending to asap

So pleased to finally be able to visit for Sunday lunch which was superb. Great value with two types of potato, three veg and cauliflower cheese and the all important home made Yorkshire pub. Service was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be visiting again.

Everything was pleasant. The young lady originally brought one meal wrong but very quickly and pleasantly put this right, which is what counts.
Only negative was the price of sweets, £10!
All in all though very good, much better than the Cover Bridge where a poor experience was simply shrugged off by an uninterested landlord.

They were extremely busy with locals drinking in the pub - this was a lovely to see. However, young staff left in charge of the main dining room were clearly overwhelmed and lacked experience.
