The Mess Room Bar & Live Lounge

Welcome to The Mess Room​

We are an intimate, independent, music loving bar, serving an ever-changing line up of craft beer, real ale, craft cocktails, wine and a wide range of small batch spirits. We are currently in the process of expanding, (but don't worry, we're still open as normal) and from January 2023, you'll be able to enjoy more space and we'll be able to host more events. The Mess Room will become The Mess Room Bar & Live Lounge, with the spaces affectionately named Big Mess and Little Mess. We have a wide range of music and events booked in at The Live Lounge already (two of which have already sold out), so be sure to take a look at our events on our website.

We love live music, and currently have events as often as we can. We currently music every Sunday, and also on selected Fridays and Saturdays. It can get pretty busy at times, and as we're only tiny, you'll no doubt end up chatting to new friends during your visit!

Good vibes, a warm welcome and a gorgeous, intimate beer garden await. As we are quite intimate, table bookings are available, and recommended for larger groups, although not essential!
