Absolutely fantastic. 10/10 would recommend
Lovely food as always, lovely and very friendly staff
A lovely evening .... great service.... food excellent..... staff so friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this pup/restaurant.
We visited with the family and we all had a great time. The children’s area outside is much improved since our last visit. The menu is very good and all our meals were superb and we booked to return on Bank holiday when we were there to choose another item from the menu although the ribs again would be a temptation. The staff were all great and everything was well organised around the present situation.
Maybe another member of staff needed as wait for drinks was a little longer than expected but apart from that, spot on
Overall a lovely experience under the circumstances. One steak was a little over done but more or less managed to eat it. Would go back again.
A most enjoyable night out, good food, good value, nice atmosphere, good service
No carvery due to covid19, which most people had gone in for, yet still advertised outside. Food we ordered came out within 5 mins so must have a lot of deep fat fryers and microwaves. Staff were friendly. Ordering online works well.
Fab evening at the Green man for dinner. Food was lovely, staff friendly and the decor was very funky. Absolutely loved it here and will be coming back.
Nice place, poor service, incorrect bill from another table, incorrect amount on the bill, cost of what we had at its original price before government discount would have been very poor value, quality of food, especially children's 1 x dish was very poor
We all enjoyed our meal, friendly service and the ambience was good. These are strange times but we all felt safe and had a good time. Thankyou.
Fantastic food and great service
ABSOLUTELY .......... FANTASTIC
Food ambiance and experience really good! Staff couldn’t be more helpful given COVID 19 restrictions
Perfect as always, even in these uncertain times.
The meal was very good, there was a lot of thought it the preparation regarding seating, entrance & exit. the service was excellent. Thank you.
Really enjoyed our visit to the Green Man. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. While I'm sure the food choices are well-cooked, I would have liked to see a little more choice (e.g. pasta, French, Italian and Spanish dishes, steak & kidney pie/pudding) but this was day one after a long period of shut-down so maybe the menu will expand in time. My one disappointment was the absence of draft beers, but, again, this will be remedied in time - probably already. Overall, I was glad the be able to go out for a meal in pleasant surroundings, and hope the restaurant is soon full of customers again.
Everything was good. Food service cleanliness
Enjoyable experience. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food gòd quality and good value.
The Green man was as good as it’s always been, there were obviously constraints wth the precautions of COVID 19 but despite that, the food was good, the service was good so our experience was good, what more could one want.
The meal was during 'Eat Out to Help Out' or we wouldn't have been able to go. There are no complaints but we hadn't realised that the restaurant had become a diner since our last visit. That was disappointing to us as we don't usually eat this type of food but it was well cooked and presented by lovely staff in great surroundings. Portions are huge. We only had mains as we couldn't manage desserts!
Lovely food and very helpful staff. So good, we went back the next evening.
This was our first post-lockdown meal at the Green Man. It was good to be back. We were made to feel welcome. The decor with the tree and balcony scene is good. Service was good with very pleasant staff. Food was good too. Definitely will return.
Unfortunately the Green man was going to be closed, but I did get a phone call asking If I could go to sister pub the Ferry Inn. Visited the Ferry Inn and it was superb all round except they were going to do 30% discount for the extra miles which we all forgot about at the end but hey ho!
Nice place lovely meals. We will come again Thanks
Had the Sunday which was very nice though I had 2 slices of beef my wife only had 1 which was the only down point ,as the rest of the meal was excellent.
A lovely evening. Food could have been a little hotter
Overall a good experience service good and social distanced
Lovely staff. Great for kids and good food
Overall very good, concerned to see the cutlery already laid out on serviettes on the tables, they should be brought out with the food because of the covid pandemic, anybody could have touch them.
A little disappointing that the Sunday lunch is not available at the moment. Nonetheless, the food we chose was delicious. The service was very good, as well. However, where we were sitting, some of the light bulbs were out and it was difficult to read the menu. The lovely waitress loaned us a torch to read by, but the bulbs should have been replaced.
My first visit to this restaurant. Fish and chips and chilli con carne ordered. Meals quite expensive. £13 for fish and chip not good value. Peas cold, batter on fish didnt seem cooked through. Enjoyable experience though and staff helpful and attentive
Staff were polite . Had to ask for new cutlery and servette after we had a start when they brought the main meal. But generally the serviceveas average/good especially in these times
Service was spot on. Ambience....we were the only two im the restauramt when we got our meal. I didnt emjoy my meal but the value for money was fine as a monday, we were pn the Eat Out offer.
Ordered Salads, the Ceasar had too much dressing, but the Med Veg was delicious. Lovely garden and pleasant service. Bar closed too early, but in current climate, totally understandable. Wanted dessert, but kitchen had closed, so missed out! Would definitely go back if in the area. Thank you.
