Food was fantastic, so was the coffee! Definitely will be back, already can't wait. Only two notes I'd like to pass on, it would have been nice to have a menu on the table or given one once we arrived (we had to fetch our own after waiting over 5 mins) and secondly, there were a fair few flies buzzing around whilst seated, I understand its the season for them but it's not nice to be often swatting at them whilst trying to eat/drink. Perhaps invest in a good fly trap? Other than that, can't wait to come for brunch again!

It was our first visit. When we arrived it seemed a bit chaotic with people queuing to order take-aways, pay bills, and ask for a table. We told a member of staff we had a table reserved but he told us to join the queue to speak to the guy taking payment and making drinks. We don’t know why he couldn’t just point us in the direction of our reserved table. Thankfully the waitress came over to us before waiting to reach the front of the queue and took us to our table. The food we ordered was really nice and so was the coffee - we will definitely be back.

Nice food and service. Delicious coffee. There was something about the ambient sound that I found really loud, annoying and distracting - I could barely hear my friend talking. Have you considered some kind of soundproofing? Hanging baffles or similar?

I saw this place from some of the Nottingham food bloggers and I was really excited to try! Overall, we thought the food was really tasty although we found some aspects of our food not true to the pictures (potato hash was quite thin and no blueberries for french toast). Whilst we know it was busy we had to wait over 50 minutes from ordering to our food arriving which was a really long wait and the hot chocolates took 30 minutes to arrive so we were getting quite fed up. The room itself we found to be very cold. I think this was because we were seated by a table near the toilet which had a gap outside and people kept leaving this open. I sat in my coat the entire time and the woman next to me was wearing hers. The staff were very friendly and we appreciate it was busy so we will definitely be back to sample some more food on the menu.
