Was very happy with the whole experience. Very attentive and pleasant waitress, as were all the staff. Food excellent. A great selection of brunch dishes to choose from. And sitting outside on a beautiful sunny day with a view of the Ottawa River was a plus. Thank you!

For those of us (especially seniors) who prefer not to eat red meat and like to eat "lightly", an offering of fish would be appreciated sometime as you expand your menu. My Deep River high school friend visiting from Ottawa and I had a memorable catch up visit in the Hex. It was a trip down memory lane for both of us in a very friendly informal environment. Good luck Maven this summer with this new adventure! Thanks for making the club so inviting to all.

I love the Hexagon. It's the best food place in town in my opinion. The staff/servers are always excellent. Last night the service was very slow but only because there weren't enough servers for the number of guests. Thank you!

Food was excellent. Server needs more training. We asked for more coffee. Server was surprised and said she couldn’t top it off. She said she could bring us a half cup. Said we would pay for a whole fresh cup and she said again that she could bring a half cup and we could pour it in. Another server stepped in and handled it. My friend also paid cash for her lunch. She asked for a receipt and was told she couldn’t have one because people use the machine. She was pleasant but additional training will benefit both her as an employee and your business reputation. We will be back. Everyone deserves a second chance.

The entree I had was delicious (cheese tortellini with squash sauce, topped with chicken), the wine was also good. My friend had the same thing and she also really enjoyed hers. The dessert I wanted was unavailable so I passed on dessert and my friend ordered carrot cake, which turned out to be a muffin. My coffee was cold so I asked that it be heated. When it came back to me it was hot but much stronger - I couldn't drink it. What started out really well turned into a disappointment. The server we had was very friendly and helpful but she did not seem to be trained in the job.
