2 x patrons from my group ordered Ceasar salad. Kitchen staff forgot to add croutons to both dishes and there was minimal amount of chicken and bacon. Another ordered the Moroccan chicken and was advised there was no hummus for the meal. I was surprised that no one from staff took $8 from petty cash and walked 10 mins to the Woolies in Raine square and purchased a 1kg tub??

The dining room we had was lovely, and we had a fun time playing Christmas charades. There were a lot of blown light globes and cobwebs, the beauty and charm of the lovely old building would be much improved with a bit of a spruce up.

A suggestion perhaps is to include a salad option instead of the chips as a healthier choice.

Absolutely beautiful building and friendly, helpful staff. The food was a long time coming (over an hour) which was to be expected at this time of year. The burrito bowl was a disappointment, with tinned corn, tinned beans, no refried beans, no flavour, plain smashed avo instead of tasty guacamole, supermarket dressing. Chips and pizza were excellent. How about a veggie pizza, eg mushroom? Will be back! Thank you.

Not a good experience at all. For a 1:30 pm booking, we had to ask for the menu ourselves at around 2:15 only to be told that we will be served only after 2:30 and that the kitchen is very busy. The washrooms were extremely messy with water and tissues all over the floor, the sinks were blocked and the lunch room was freezing. Clearly that area has not been cleaned in a long time. The food was ok but the drinks had more coloured water than flavour in them.
This hospitality is not expected from anyone in the food business especially when a pre payment is being sought after constantly to secure the booking and avoid delays. A totally disappointing experience from a venue that is centrally located and claims to be one of a kind dining experience.

We had a mixed experience as we were seated outside despite making a reservation for inside due to some team members having allergies so not a great start! Thank you to the teams who served us - the service was slower than expected but we were told that bar staff and a chef had not turned up to their shift. Some food was well received but the pizza and burger were not to the standard expected. The bar orders were really slow as this impacted our experience as mistakes were made with drink orders and one of the colleagues had to leave before they received their drink. We weren't even offered table water. We selected the Terrace as it is central to our office . Whilst it was not the fault of the staff who were there - they should be congratulated for managing with the staff shortage - but there was clearly a management issue that needs resolving when the restaurant is fully booked. Even with two more staff I don't think they would have managed the drinks orders for the number of patrons. The Terrace is 5 minutes from our office so we were expecting a better quality of service as it had been pre booked and pre ordered. My second visit recently. Food was nice and everyone (4 of us) enjoyed meal. Staff were friendly enough but not enough attention paid. Salad on my parmigiana was dropped in a friends bag! Salad left on plate was only still there because waitress used her hand! I’m not partial to having my food touched! I went up to counter to order coffees later. Frustrating to watch service staff try to input order in computer with acrylic nails! Surprises me time and again that acrylic nails are allowed in food environment. Not only unhygienic but staff certainly seem handicapped by them! Afternoon spoilt by music being played in restaurant. We were only table so perhaps it was for atmosphere or ambience but we wanted to catch up and chat and it was a strain to hear each other. We went out the back and it looked closed; no one at the tall tables or out the back generally. About 3 tables being used outside at the front over the lunch period in the CBD? I’m not sure Id convince friends to visit again.

Oh dear. This was a really poor experience from start to finish.
Right from the start it was clear the staff were completely out of their depth and some of them may lack training. There were several other Christmas lunches going on around us and it looked like they were all having the same issues.
Our drinks hadn't arrived 40 mins after ordering, and we were told to fetch them ourselves from the bar due to wifi printing issues. That was the reason given for the food also taking an hour to arrive. But that's not an excuse for scotch fillets full of gristle and overcooked, finished plates not being collected by staff for half an hour, and staff who blindly read all the side dish options off a screen (salad only, salad and chips, chips only, etc.) without thinking about how you make it easier for a customer. This place needs improved management, and you need to take the time to train people better in how to adapt when things are busy. Whip out pens and paper and run those if the wifi isn't working - don't make it the customer's problem!

Hi really good service and food especially considering how busy you all were. Only one minor issue with the food which was in part the fault of the one person who did not preorder was that his meal did not get served. This was corrected on the bill but he did leave a little hungry.

The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. I wasn’t sure of what cocktail to order and the bar staff suggested one he could make that wasn’t on the menu. We were really impressed with the food and was such a great meal overall very impressed.

It’s a great location for sitting outside. Staff are hard to get nowadays , so well understand the service side. Food was reasonable not bad but not great.
