Our service was terrific. The only issue was that the upstairs can be super loud because there's nothing to absorb sound and their was a party of 6 near us that was incredibly loud. I could legit barely hear the person sitting next to me.

We were so pleased with our lunch and the overall experience at American Sardine Bar. The food was excellent, the place was quiet and we could hear our guests, the birthday cake surprise went off beautifully, and our server was superlative. The fried chicken sandwich, the ginormous BLT, and the salt and pepper fries were lovely, but the carrot cake (Pistachio) and the roasted brussels sprouts were some of the best food we've had in a while. We'd return in a heart beat if we were to visit Philly again.

The Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Only what I don’t like is that you are constantly changing menu. In my opinion you should have constant dishes and maybe monthly add couple specialty. Every time I’m coming for something I previously ate I’m not able to have it. Also some prices went up, like your famous onions and French fries. Still you have all tens because I love my neighborhood Sardine Bar.

We all had a great time- loved where we were seating, and the staff were very attentive. The first person we had was very personable. We did ask for no pepper on our fries, but they came out with pepper. We decided not to say anything, even though not everyone could eat the fries. We also ended up with free fried onion rings, for some reason! Good time all around!

Your staff is friendly and very nice to talk to. Your ambience is fun and relaxing, especially the outdoor patio. It's a nice place to be. While my husband enjoys your food, it's a little too spicy, salty, saucy, and nouvelle for my taste. I like blander, simpler foods. Maybe you could offer a few of those items for us healthy eaters.

Doesn’t get much better for a gastropub. We went on a pleasant evening and sat outside on their quirky lawn chairs, drinking craft beer, eating deluxe sandwiches and nibbling on sardines and onion rings. We’ll bee we back!
