It was way too loud. My husband has a decibel meter on his phone and it registered over 100 dB. Service was slow & many times we were left with empty water glasses. Food was okay but not worth the price.

What made the evening really excellent was service by Kaleiah. She was professional, courteous, helpful and friendly. Our entrees quickly came out of the kitchen. The nearby fire kept us warm. Two suggestions: we sat several tables away from the music. Nice, but we could barely hear each other. Ask musicians to be a bit quieter. Also, you know where a bottleneck exists. If employees try to not stand in that area, that would be helpful. Overall, we had a very pleasant evening at Sardella's and will return. Thank you for asking for feedback.

I do not give favorable reviews lightly (or some the time to do them), but this evening was fantastic! We came into town to celebrate our anniversary, had a spot right next to a warm fire on a cold night, ate fresh, fantastic food, and had a kind, young, attentive waiter helping us. You guys did amazing!!

Our New Year’s Eve dinner at our requested table by the fire place was scrumptious. Our swordfish and lobster ravioli were creations of authentic perfection. The atmosphere was lively, familial and celebratory. Dining at Sardella’s regularly is one the things I miss most about living in Newport! It was a wonderful way to begin the New Year. Well done!

Wonderful food, great location within walking distance of downtown Newport. The restaurant was very crowded the night we were there, and the noise level was a bit excessive, thanks to a foursome from New Jersey used to sharing their conversation with the entire neighborhood. Our server did his best to keep up with the demands in our section, but he probably needed a little help. We'll be back.

Sardella's has become our go to restaurant for out-of-town guests. Food is very Italian and better than Italy! Interesting variety on the menu. Service is excellent and the restaurant is so comfortable you feel you want to stay for the evening. You can dress for a special evening out or a casual dinner after a day of touring, and yet you are treated special by all of the staff. We have dropped by in shorts and exhausted after bringing guests around Newport and the staff has treated us like royalty. Do not change anything!

We have lived Sardellas for years. It is always something we looked forward to when we came back home for visits and now that we live in the area again we use any excuse to dine there. The food is always delicious. The ambiance in the cooler months is my favorite given the beautiful fireplace. They also always have great specials like pumpkin ravioli in the fall! We can in 2021 and the service had slipped significantly post-pandemic. They are back at it again providing a great meal and experience.

Great service for our large party. We appreciated that Sardella's was ready for us when we got there and that the team was so attentive throughout our visit. When we're back in Newport, we'll definitely go to Sardella's again!
