The fish and chips was a horror. Chips worst ever….oddly
there was prior review say ing fish used shake and bake taste….ick. Let me say fish itself was fine..so if you want to avoid a deep fryer smell do a pan fry..keep aioli

The food and service were great however, we waited 50 minutes for our food. When we arrived, there was only one other party seated in the main dining area whose food was delivered within minutes of our arrival. The dining room filled up in the next half hour. By the time we finished our dinners, the dining room had emptied, and two other parties had already been served their drinks. Only one appetizer had been ordered which was baked mozzarella caprese which came 20 minutes after we ordered. The waitress was attentive but the food took too long. She checked on it twice & told us it still wasn’t ready.

Food is excellent and the staff is equally good. Menu is varied with staples but also a nice variety. Even the staples have a step up. Their Caesar salad with avocado croutons was amazing. Italian sausage omelet was also terrific coupled with a Gouda hash brown. Will definitely be back.

Ordered a side of brussel sprouts. Portion size was very small. I think there may have been 6 halves altogether. I have ordered this in the past and was served a reasonable portion. They were mushy and overcooked. Not crispy.
Asked for a small fork for the steamers and was unapologetically told we don’t have any, no alternate suggested like a spoon. Bowl for shells too small.

We always enjoy being at Coastal Cabin! We normally sit at the bar, which gives us an opportunity to meet and talk to other diners. We really enjoy that, which is not something we did when we were younger. Also, there is a 1/2 price appetizer menu before 6 PM that is very good and the bartender, Carol, pours a very generous cocktail! And, the restaurant gives you cash back rewards/points, which can be saved or redeemed as desired. All in all, a great place that we highly recommend!

Ordered lobster ravioli while ago…was excellent….in a light butter sauce you could actually taste the lobster meat. this time it came smothered with heavy baked on cheese….which completely overwhelmed the flavor of the dough and the lobster…also Ordered lobster roll . Lobster was dry and shredded….no chunks. Did not seem fresh….In general I would prefer less spiced food…..more simple….Carol makes excellent cocktails….

Affordable good seafood. The lobster salad was amazing!!! Fresh large pieces of lobster with tomatoes, avocado and blue corn chips. I ate the entire plate! Really fresh and tasty. My husband ordered the seafood chowder and it was good. In would agree with the other reviews that it was a little salty. For the main course I had the grilled salmon with crab cake. It was a lot of food. The salmon was very very good and the salmon was good. Too much food. My husband had the stuffed shrimp
And he ate everything on his plate. It was also very good. For cocktails I had the grapefruit martini

We had a fabulous time as usual at Bingo night. However I was very disappointed in your fish and chips which was not at all what I expected. They were more like “frozen fish sticks”. I would have preferred a fluffy batter. The other 3 really enjoyed their meals. We certainly will return.

It was first visit to Coastal Cabin. The name truly reflects the great ambiance of the restaurant. It’s like a log cabin on the coast with a wood burning stove too! Service was great and food was fabulous. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

The food is always terrific. I LOVE the capresi salad, the Gouda hash browns, and especially the creamy French onion soup. I am generally annoying with my special requests, like extra sauce, etc., and all the waitresses are so nice about it. Most importantly, they bring me exactly what I request!
