For our anniversary Friday, we decided to try Duke's. It was our first dinner here. It was an excellent dinning experience. We had an amazing server named Todd. The music was perfect. Over the years, we've eaten at all of the higher end steakhouses in Reno and Sparks and I believe this is the best. We enjoyed it so much that we made reservations for Thanksgiving and Christmas on our way out. I would rate this place a 10 out of 10.

Our waiter was too busy to give us good service. We waited an hour and a half for our dinner and did not have an appetizer. We usually go to Dukes in Carson but wanted to try Dukes in Sparks since they are open 7 days a week.

Marcus, our server, was great... Beside being very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable in cuisine, he was a genuine joy. Our meal was outstanding (as usual) and made even better by the additional personal atmosphere provided by Marcus. We've eaten at Duke's before and we highly recommend this establishment to anyone desiring a superb dining experience. Your glasses will never run dry and the assistant staff insure your every need is met with sincere smiling faces.

We absolutely loved Duke's and will go again! Kevin, our server was personable & informative. Carol & Maddie!, our hostesses were welcoming & cheerful. Our bartender was efficient & made me a delicious vodka dirty martini, my favorite. My only two reservations were the cream of mushroom soup, it was extremely too salty, to the point that made our mouths pucker. Also, we're not used to our premium spirits coming out of a gun. Maybe on the casino floor but certainly not appropriate at the steakhouse bar. When I order Grey Goose vodka I want to see it come straight from the bottle. Other than that our food was absolutely delicious, filet mignon melted in my mouth!

Descent exsperience shrimp should be larger u 12 is a great size . Ribeye steak was good but should change your spec on the ribeye to buy 10 to 12 lb no larger so everyone gets a thicker cut. Same with the sirloin strip spec should be 10 pound 1x1 strip loin thicker steak fo r everyone palate cleanser sorbet would be nice hot towel also nice steak house traditionally y have larger cocktails we had up martinis and mahahatans use a 7.5 ounce glass also a side car is nice perceived value is important table side spinach not available no cart Ed was our waiter and did an adequate job was attentive to our need . Excellent coordination by Oscar. He single-handedly made our experience perfect. We had a group of 8 for a celebration of life. The food was terrific. Not one thing was less than exquisite. Server was prompt, but forgot items. We made three different requests during our meal and each was met with a positive response, but then the items were never brought. The food was good. Escargot: Flavorless - but the garlic bread served with it was wonderful. Cesar salad: Very good - not prepared tableside, but it was a good cesar. The salad was slightly over dressed, but tasty. It was served in a cheese bowl - unique. Surf and turf Filet: The filet mignon steak was outstanding, cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor, the garlic mashed were some of the best I've had. The lobster was decent size, cooked well - no lemon served with the lobster and none available upon request. Crab leg dinner: The crab-legs were split, but unfortunately the split tore through the leg-meat so large pieces couldn't be pulled out. No tools were provided to open the legs and although they were split, it was difficult to access the meat. No towel or hand wipe was provided prior to or after the meal (if you are going to serve an eat with your hands seafood dish, please provide a way to clean your hands). No lemons served with the crab, but there was plenty of drawn butter. The requested side of béarnaise sauce was cold. I mean out-of-fridge cold. The flavor was perfect, but cold béarnaise is just kind of sad. The brown rice side was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor - not worth putting on a plate. The steamed veggies on both plates were cooked perfectly with decent flavor. Great wine selection - but the wine list has no vintage years listed. We like certain vintages and not having that info was frustrating. No sommelier available. The server glugged the wine into the glasses spilling wine down both stems and on to the table cloth - just a little training would help a lot with wine service. We really liked the server, but for a $477 meal, do expect a higher level of service. We look forward to trying this again - but will stick to steak - leave the seafood off.

Everything was great except for the main entree- 2 prime rib orders. Extremely tough and chewy. Probably the worst piece my wife and I have ever had at a steakhouse. Server was excellent, crab cake and Caprese apps were on point, wedge salad was a little underwhelming but nothing that would have ruined our experience had the prime rib been tender. Very kind gesture to surprise us with a complimentary dessert since it was our 10th anniversary.

Steak Diane was great! Our Server was great! Escargot seemed a little small. The smoked, baked oysters had an excellent flavor. Top marks all around for Duke's! From the moment we walked up we were treated with familiarity and left feeling like family. The food was outstanding the service was somehow even better. Their entrees actually come with sides unlike most steakhouses where you spend a ridiculous amount of money on the steak and then another $8 for a potato and another $8 for some vegetables. Highly recommend!

We reserved a table for four, there was tables for two set up in the dining srea. We were offered sets in the party room, which we didn't want. We told them we wanted to dine in the dining room not in the backroom. The young woman wasn't happy with me for not accepting the room. Kevin is wonderful and set us up in the dining room. Possibly the best rib eye steak and filet we have ever eaten. Our server Oscar was fantastic. He made sure we were aware of all the little details on the food and wine. The deserts are also fantastic. Both times we have eaten there have been out of this world good.

The overall was very nice! Prime rib was on the cool side, but Carol right on it and took care of the situation. Wyatt our waiter did an excellent job. Owning a business I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my clients.

It was our first time at Dukes, we are very excited to have such a good steak house close to us in Sparks. The food was amazing. My steak was cooked a little under temp, but I prefer that to over cooked. That was really the only issue. We enjoyed the support staff Brisa, Marcus and David. Brisa has an infectious smile, and over all they did an amazing job. We also met the supervisor Carol, and she was so friendly. She checked on us to see how things were going. She seemed like she really cares about guest experiences. We will definitely be back

Too dark of a room to dine in and too many people packed together in one room. Preferred the Dukes Steakhouse location in Carson City. I also do not know how you could screw up a prime rib but apparently that was not on the menu. Location in general is not as accessible when compared to other areas where it just comes down to preference. Not questioning the food at all but the only reason I give it a 0 value rating is because of how the cooking/chef staff could screw up a prime rib for the day taking if off the menu. The other Duke's location in Carson City was better lit. Will probably stick to another steakhouse or just buy the prime grade beef and prepare it myself. Service was at the very least attentive. Just not the dining experience I expected and it was the wrong night to go if the prime rib was not going to be on the menu.

Great meal, excellent service. The manager, Steven, checked on every table in a professional, courteous manner. Our waiter, Brennan, seemed incredibly seasoned for being so young. His poise made our dining experience exceptionally enjoyable.

Escargot appetizer was dry and lacked butter/garlic. Oysters Rockefeller was on point. Everything else was amazing, hot & delicious. Our server was terrific and so was Larry and the female manager. Great service. One suggestion… when a guest orders a $160 bottle of wine (we ordered 2), the bottle should be opened and poured at the table, not taken away, and brought back in a decanter. We will definitely recommend Dukes, and will return again

The food was really good, but not incredible. The best part of the evening was our server, David. He was super knowledgeable about the menu, paced the meal correctly and answered all of our questions. The ambience was nice, there was a placard that indicated a dress code - that was ignored by other patrons. So that took away from a classic “steakhouse” experience. Cocktails were decently priced and delicious. Lots of tableside flambé choices which made the evening fun. We would go back again.

Our service was top notch. Brendan and all of the assistant servers were right there when we needed anything and all were very pleasant. The food was superb. I chose the Scallops and my husband had the Prime Rib. Both were exquisite. The sauce that it served with the scallops was incredible! The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection and was a very generous portion. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Duke's. We will definitely be back.

Our server Wyatt was outstanding. we were provided Sommolier service by Larry and he was extremely knowledgeable. He paired the wine with our meal perfectly. the dinners were outstanding. I had elk tenderloin and it was perfect. we will definitely go back to Dukes. To otop id off Carol Walsh is a excellent manager of the restaurant. 10 +++
