Amazing experience! The oysters were simply delicious — fresh, clean, and perfectly served. The bartender also crafted special cocktails and wine for us, which really elevated the whole evening. And don’t miss the salmon — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Definitely a place I’d return to!

We're regulars at Tanuki raw orchard central and we are disappointed that the food quality has dropped so much! Oysters came with a fishy smell and a few of them looked yellow at the side, one oyster even looked dried at the side. We didn't eat n rejected them for fear of a tummy upset. Staff said it's freshly shackled which is clearly not. We are regulars, we know our oysters. They used to be plum & juicy and smell of the ocean! Sushi doesn't taste as good as before too. Sad that their standard has dropped so much. Staffs were not as friendly/ helpful like before.

The food is good, enjoyed the maki rolls & beef bowl & fries. Sadly not much choices in terms of desserts. HH was not bad too, but the alcohol could be a bit stronger. Staff was very patient & attentive. Noticed a missing lime wedge in my chrysanthemum G&T and immediately went to replace it.

Been to all TR outlets now, and this one is my favourite! Also appreciated that the staff was very accommodating in helping me prepare a slice of cake to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Slightly bummed by the price of food, but nevertheless will still be coming back in the future.

This is what happens when an Executive Chef is so passionate about flavour that he goes insane!
The taste fusions here were quite unique, to the point that in some cases, you wouldn't expect them to work, but once you place one these bad boys in your mouth, you realise that you were very much mistaken!
Marshmallows on fries? You gotta' be kidding me! But again, I ordered them, tried them, and obliterated the entire bowl. It was surprisingly delicious!
I also sampled the oysters and sashimi; a much more prosaic choice, but delicious and fresh in taste.
My favourites where the culinary explosions of the Futo Sushi. Monster sized sushi good for sharing (if you like the person you're dining with). These were a taste explosion, with the beef/cheese combo being a delicious highlight!
Finally, the staff were friendly, relaxed, yet professional. These guys have earned themselves a regular customer with me!

Tanuki Raw is always a good place to have nice bites with friends and happy hour is really convenient. We were sat outside on a nice central table and served by Ryan who was super careful and supportive, thumbs up!
Only small comments I can make are related to the lobster and salmon bao, which are one of my favourite bites and I have to say this time baos were a little too oily as there was some issues while cooking; also the list of wine could get a couple of more choices, as 3 kinds each of white and red are really a few for such a good menu. Anyway I'm looking forward to my next visit!

1) The salmon sashimi for the birthday promotion could be sliced more consistently. Some were significantly smaller and thinner.
2) An additional side accompanying a main curry don was not served until we informed the servers. We went to the restaurant on a weekday, not during the weekend so we wondered how the kitchen would cope during the weekends.

I feel that the lunch bowls should be the same size as those offered on undiscounted items as it is only fair that same size bowls are priced cheaper during lunch time. It will be abit misleading to say it is discounted at $12 during lunch time at Somerset and appears smaller than the regular size bowls during dinner time.

I asked for some more sauce for the truffle fries but need to pay additional costs for it. The sauce came in a small sauce plate which was the first time I encountered it. I have been eating regularly the truffle fries with the sauce separated at all your outlets. The sauce and mushrooms came separate in a small bowl, not small sauce plate. Overall, the services and food are great. I spend $300+ For the meal and to pay a few cents for the sauce is not the issue but I feel it’s not business sense to ask for another 30 to 50c for the additional sauce which in turn gives a bad impression of the restaurant.

Came here to celebrate my girl’s birthday. Love that they give free wine promotion. However, the restaurant is rather noisy, warm with little air conditioning. Food is average - the salmon curry don is a little salty for my liking but the raw salmon is fresh. We also ordered the butter chicken which came in huge chunks of chicken but came with a lot of fats on them. Please improve the food quality for the price paid. Thank you!

My Japanese friend commented it is the first time she is having such Japanese Fusion food, and it was not bad. Just the taste sometimes was not blending. On the day when we dined, the NETS, VISA and Mastercard machine was not working. It was either cash or Amex. Luckily I had an Amex or would have to run about looking for an Automated Machine to withdraw cash which will be a hit or miss given you don't know how much dinner will be.

Service was good, I liked that this lady server wished my dad happy father's day. There was some kind of odour at the location we were seated, which was right behind the cashier, which you might want to look into. The sashimi was fresh and tasty but the spam fries had a strange type of coating not to our taste.
