This was my 4th time at No.6 in six weeks! I had never been aware of this very cool, classy, great vibes restaurant. What a find in South Bend!
My one suggestion is this...might you consider printing the menu item titles in darker ink, please? The light orange ink is pretty hard to see when pooling at the menu.

I have been wanting to eat here for awhile now. It did not disappoint. My wife has food sensitivities and has trouble with most restaurant food due to some additives/preservatives. Not a problem here. The food was fantastic. Scratch kitchen and fresh ingredients. This has been added to our “safe eating” restaurant list (very small list). Friendly and helpful staff to top it off. Looking forward to going back.

Went here for a valentine’s day date night and it’s the perfect cozy spot with a romantic setup/ambiance. The service was absolutely wonderful! We had a Delicious Breakfast Sunday, Chocolate French toast with coconut. It tasted like an Almond Joy bar, taste buds were happy. The coffee and champagne mimosas were scrumptious. I give No. 6 a big fat 10!! Met the owner at the door, had some great wine and a great menu. Dessert was fantastic! Can't wait to go back, but glad they are right down the block from where I live, it won't be a long trip.

We live a block away from No. 6, a beautifully restored firehouse restaurant. We popped in for an inaugural visit as they were opening the doors on their first day. The food and ambiance are both amazing. Despite the normal first day difficulties, we had a great time and enjoyed meeting the friendly staff as well as owner Amanda's mom, who greeted us at the door. We are a vegetarian family, and we were delighted with the Cauliflower Burger, possibly the best best veggie burger we have ever had. No fake meat here....truly delicious. We look forward to many more dinners and brunches at No. 6 and hope they will always offer such yummy vegetarian options! We already have reservations for our next two visits :) We are thrilled to have this place in our neighborhood!

Overall loved this place. Food was awesome and a cool atmosphere. Service was slow all night and the waitress forgot a few things and didn't check on us much. Then they gave us a hard time about leaving so the next reservation could sit down. Totally understand having to keep reservations but the reason we were behind was because the service was so slow. So that left a sour taste in our mouths.

This is by far the best over-priced restaurant in the midwest. The food is peerless, and the staff is almost normal. I wouldn’t go near the desserts and I really do think the food is over-priced, but the feel of the dining room is lovely and welcoming. The food is extraordinarily delicious.

This was are second visit and it went much better. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Food came out in a timely manner. Brussel spout appetizer were a bit soft vs crisp. Enjoyed our salad, unfortunately the candied nuts on them were rancid. NY strip was gorgeous and perfectly done. Buffalo tenderloin was a bit tougher than I anticipated but cooked a very nice medium rare. Had a nice bottle of red from Spain with a reasonable price. The cream brûlée was so good! We look forward to dining there again.

We had a great meal and great service. It was extremely loud the night we were there, which was not unexpected; however, it was still difficult to hear each other at our table of four. We will definitely come back, though, and look forward to another excellent meal and terrific service.

Loved the wild mushroom risotto. Service was great too! Redskin mashed was a hit! Steaks were a bit over done, but flavorful. Great wine selection too! Overall, very good. Maybe a better execution on the steaks, a hotter grill and less time would have knocked them out of the park!

What a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, the wine was perfect, the staff was excellent, and we enjoyed every minute! Didn’t love sitting in the busiest traffic area by the waitress station, and path to the restroom…..but everything else made that seem trivial. It was a great night. Love this place and can’t wait to come back!

Waitress was wonderful. Food was very good. We particularly like the size of the restaurant as it does not get so loud that you cannot talk!
Our dinner guests loved the location and food. It was their first time at #6 and they stated they would be back. Thanks to all the staff for working so hard. I love my community and I like options for the locals and our guests to the community.

I loved the garden. Lovely. I loved the wait staff. The stuffed eggplant was pretty good. The salad lovely. The pork chop hEAVENLY. The fact that there is no bread is disappointing. Good bread and butter would elevated the meal. I love the decor - vibe - oh and those Brussel sproats were amazing!!! Thank you for all you do to make it so wonderful. I would highly recommend !!
