And yet when another group came in they were seated right behind us; thus making our table’s conversation challenging to hear. This was my 4th time at No.6 in six weeks! I had never been aware of this very cool, classy, great vibes restaurant. What a find in South Bend!
My one suggestion is this...might you consider printing the menu item titles in darker ink, please? The light orange ink is pretty hard to see when pooling at the menu.

I have been wanting to eat here for awhile now. It did not disappoint. My wife has food sensitivities and has trouble with most restaurant food due to some additives/preservatives. Not a problem here. The food was fantastic. Scratch kitchen and fresh ingredients. This has been added to our “safe eating” restaurant list (very small list). Went here for a valentine’s day date night and it’s the perfect cozy spot with a romantic setup/ambiance. The service was absolutely wonderful! A wonderful cozy bistro atmosphere with exposed brick walls and lots of windows. Exceptional menu with some game (boar, bison) as well as salmon, salads. Imaginatively prepared dishes with super fresh ingredients. Great wine list with some unusual picks. Very warm and inviting. We will be back!!

We thought the snapper was wonderful. The veggie lasagna kind of missed the mark, something threw it off. Fig & goat cheese was sublime. overall #6 is a jewel, kudos to a very busy Robin.

No.6 is a fabulous new restaurant to hit the South Bend food scene. The food, setting and people are fantastic. You can really tell that everyone loves what they do here! With a daily changing menu, you could eat here every night and always be tempted with something new. The chef really knows how to blend flavors and prepare meats extremely well. Run, don’t walk to No. 6!
