Rib & Oyster

Having booked a table for 8pm, on arrival there was no table available, we stood by the door for what seemed a lifetime, feeling quite uncomfortable we were then asked to walk across the road to the local public house and wait for a phone call, bearing in mind it was pouring with rain, we had to buy drinks whilst waiting for the call, it eventually came through at 8:25pm and we walked back to the restaurant ( still raining ) we were shown to our table and ordered drinks whilst checking the menu, 1 portion of garlic bread was ordered to share, no side plates were provided, the bread was soggy and had very little relation to garlic, 2 fillet steaks were ordered which were excellent, but were accompanied by an anaemic tomato, overcooked onion rings ( no onion ) and fries, all in all not the best anniversary we’ve had, I can only imagine what Marco Piere White would say if he had to endure the same experience. Very disappointed
