The food was delicious , we had a share platter and it blew our minds!
Cant wait to go again and have already recommended to all our friends.

First time visit, I thought The Mine exceeded my expectations, very relaxed atmosphere, service was friendly, food came swiftly, was plentiful, so much so I nearly didn’t have desert. I witnessed guests looking around seeing what large portions were on offer, most people asked for boxes to take home unfinished food. Will book again, which I would recommend as the venue was full, great idea to pay homage to the industrial past of the Neath Valley.

On arriving at the Mine I wasn't sure we were walking into a restaurant or a building site, it looked all boarded up and not inviting! However when inside we were greeted by friendly staff, shown to our seats and it was clear to see the thought that had gone into make the place a true Mine experience, from arrival to the decor and mining memorabilia. Then the food arrived, wow! Words can't describe how amazing it was and portions were extremely generous! Genuinely the nicest chicken tikka I have EVER tasted and the cheesecake was to die for. We will definitely be back soon

The restaurant was small and beautiful with a really nice atmosphere, the starters were absolutely beautiful, I had a smaller meal as I know the portions sizes are big, the chicken melted in your mouth, however the chips were hard and hollow, my husband had the burger but it came on a board only just big enough to hold the food.
