We are a bistro-restaurant serving affordable food with a lot of the local Fife and Angus food treasures on the menu. Lobsters and langoustines landed less than 40 metres from our front door in the harbour, fish from St Monans and Pittenweem, vegetables and salads from our own kitchen garden and a market garden in St Monans and meat and game from nearby farms and estates. The walls of the restaurant and gallery are decorated with co-owner Malcolm Cheape's paintings, as well as other well known artists. We have a range of paintings, prints, and ceramics for viewing and for sale.

We had a booking for a Sunday night and the experience was top notch! Great service! Faye and the team welcomed us like family. Lobster and the Sunday roast were specials and loved it.
We had such a great time we booked for the next night. Usually closed on Monday but they had a special menu for open golf week! It even better. Tempura monkfish was perfect! Don’t miss this restaurant!

We had an excellent dinner last week. The menu , including specials, was excellent and made chosing difficult.
Everything about our evening was first class and was the highlight of short break in Fife.

“Home” from Germany for the first time in 3 years due to covid. First time visiting this restaurant and it won’t be the last time. Service was friendly and very efficient. The food (oysters to start followed by lobster and mussels (instead of chips) for me and the wife’s battered pollock with chips and winter salad) were all excellent. For a place like Fife with such an abundance of seafood there is a real lack of seafood restaurants. This one is a great recommendation- excellent fresh local food at very fair prices.
