The clam chowder was cold. It was too salty.
Three people in our part had the sole and we all thought that the portion was very small. Too much arugula was used on many of dinners to give the illusion of a generous portion.
Bottled water was served in the bottles when we asked for water and when asked for glasses we were given plastic cups.
The food that we had was tastefully prepared.

We loved the food and recently have looked forward to eating at the club. We were very disappointed the table cloths were gone- that was going in such a good direction to upgrade the room and the entire feeling of the club. Also a good thing are more waitresses. As a member of the club we are so happy that we are gradually opening again. The food is excellent always to perfection . The service started very very slow but it was understandable given the circumstances. And now it continues to improve each week and last night was excellent. And the chef coming to each table is so important but not often done. We go to several area restaurants and in NYC and that is not common. Our only suggestion is a little more seafood on the menu (tuna, halibut, swordfish) given we are a waterfront community. And additional steak or pork chop options. Overall great food and great job

Since the club has taken over the restaurant the food quality and over all service has improved drastically. It’s nice to be able to make reservations on line. now that the wait staff has the iPads to take orders on, the wait time for beverages and the meal has gotten much quicker. I am disappointed that the antipasto was taken off the menu. We ate outside during dusk and the mosquitoes were strong maybe the club could hire someone to keep them in check.

Considering that these are very trying times, the south Norwalk Boat Club is doing a very good job of serving its members while following all required health guide lines.
Only suggestion would be to have fewer chicken dishes and more diverse selections on the dinner menu. Also paper menus would be so much better and appreciated.

We had a reservation for 12:00 and were waited on shortly after. The food was good, but we thought we had 90 minutes and it was a beautiful day, so we thought we would be able to have a enjoyed the time. We were asked if we would leave just before 1:00 since there were so many people waiting. It would seem that reservations hadn't been made since there were so many people there. That part was a disappointment, to have to leave in less than an hour.

Food needs to be served hot from the soup, the entree, and right down to the coffee. Did not make for enjoyable dinners.
Why can’t dinners be priced more reasonable, it’s a private club not a restaurant.
The Penne a’la Vodka was not good.
