Lovely lunch meal for two and what a fab bargain lunch anc the quality was great too. Very tasty food and not we ate all three courses. Will return to sample other items...must book in advance as only open three days a week. Really intimate atmosphere which is just perfect.

Mains were all amazing. Four of us ordered different dishes and we all enjoyed what we had ordered. Service excellent. A very enjoyable evening and we will certainly be back. The only thing that could be improved is the balsamic vinegar in the oil/balsamic/bread starter. It was very acidic. My have been better premixed with the oil. The only reason I am mentioning it is that you may not have tried it yourself.

This is the first time I visited the establishment in the evening although I am quite a regular at lunch times. I was entertaining a couple of friends and chose the Bistro because I had, without exception, always had a tasty meal at a realistic price. My evening visit did not disappoint. Imaginative, flavoursome well cooked and presented food in an atmospheric setting.What’s not to like? My guests were super impressed also. Well done Bistro @ 47a!

We’ll worth a car or bus ride (64 bus) from Aldeburgh. Avoid the Aldeburgh Regatta and Lighthouse and Wentworth and visit Bistro@47 for delicious food. We enjoyed the hake, the trout, and chicken. All with their own unique flavor and sauce and served with a share plate of fresh vegetables. A small place so make a reservation!

I had lunch with a friend at Bistro@47A on Thursday and it was a wonderful experience. The husband and wife duo who now are the chefs/patron of this wonderful Bistro are warm, generous and provide wonderful food at a very reasonable price. This is a place to come to with friends who have a couple of hours to spare to enjoy a wonderful lunch or dinner experience. The food was delicious and the service was faultless. I cannot recommend this restaurant too highly. Book soon as the word is getting around that this is a great place to eat in Woodbridge. (Paul - Suffolk August 2023).

A lovely meal. It is several months, since I had lunch at Bistro 47a, however, the menu hadn't changed much. I wonder if it may deter regular repeat visits. While I enjoyed the vegetables, in my opinion the carrots and cabbage would overpower the fish dishes. It was for that reason I chose meat. I do not wish to be critical, but those are the two things which struck me on my recent visit. Otherwise, another enjoyable lunch.
