What a great meal! We all enjoyed our dinner start to finish. Warmly greeted at the door. The server was lovely and non-intrusive. The chairs were comfortable. Wonderful selection of entrees. We were toward the corner of the restaurant and it was a tad noisy, but once a large party departed it was easier to converse. We will definitely be back. So happy to have found this hidden gem.

I just love the atmosphere and the staff was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately my meal wasn’t the best…the potato skin appetizer wasn’t hot…it was like it was assembled, then the cheese on top was quickly melted under the broiler, but the seafood and potato wedges underneath were lukewarm, at best. And sadly, the crabcakes were NOT chunks of jumbo lump and had a strong fishy smell and taste. I appreciate Management not charging me for the dinner portion. I would love to come back, and make these criticisms as hopefully constructive input.

This is the most charming gem of a restaurant but last night was such an unbelievably remarkable dining experience ever. The owner, Barbara, is truly an earth angel that walks amongst all of us. Of course, we picked our favorite restaurant, Cedar, to celebrate my breast cancer journey and survivorship. We were warmly welcomed by the sweet, kind and lovely hostess and then by our phenomenal waitress (Mary). I was beyond touched when our table centerpiece was a gift from the owner, Barbara. The gift was a congratulation bag full of goodies for me~wow...just wow! The tears of happiness and gratitude flowed after seeing her handmade card etc. Barbara then came and introduced herself to our table. She is such an inspiration and so full of selflessness and kindness with her spirit and words of grace. No wonder this is our favorite restaurant in this area and always will be! The food is always beyond exceptional, the staff is amazing and the owner (Barbara) makes you feel at home. She will alway hold a special place in my heart and touched my heart forever! I will cherish last night forever because of her thoughtfulness and warm-heartedness. xx~Kris

This was our first time at Cedar however it will not be our last. From the warm greeting to prompt seating to a sweet server to a delicious meal... the entire experience was a 10! We were two elderly ladies (and still are!) and sitting against the wall would not have been possible. The hostess then suggested the table in the corner and we preferred another table. It took her quite a while, with much consternation, to let us have that table. There was a whole lot of looking at her computer screen even though there were at least two empty tables all evening. We started with a very uncomfortable situation.

Place is extremely loud and very hard to hear the person sitting across from you. The acoustics are terrible causing people to talk at much higher volume. Food was good, a little pricey . After seeing other people eating bread we asked the waitress halfway through dinner. She stated it was $4.00 for two small heat and serve rolls. This was kind of the icing on the cake.

We love the restaurant and been many times. All meals were excellent except the crab cake dinner. The crab cakes were excellent but the presentation and sides were quite disappointing. The yellow rice was uninteresting and vegetables seemed to be similar to bag of frozen vegetables. The sides seemed out of place with crab cakes. I would thought that there would be something more interesting with crab cakes. The tuna and salmon dishes were very good

Dinner was good. Drinks were good as well. My only complaint was being charged $4 for two rolls with butter. When you're paying over $40 per entree a roll or two should be included in the price.

Reservation was easy. Ambiance is nice and decor is fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. Portion size was appropriate for the price. Three of the four meals were great. My duck was overcooked and chewy, but the flavor was good. That was disappointing, because one of the people in the party wanted to try duck for the first time and will probably never order it in the future. Overall, great experience and will definitely go back.

While restaurant was less than half full when we (2 people) arrived we were seated within a foot of a table of 4 people that had been there for a while. They were so loud my wife and I were unable to speak to each other. There were plenty of other tables for us to be seated at without other so close.

Food was good. Extremely loud in the restaurant and unable to enjoy conversations. Waiter, Kirby, was excellent! 5:45 reservation on Saturday night.
